J.D. Hatter

J.D. Hatter, 80, Augusta, truck driver, passed away Friday, Oct. 31, 2003.
Graveside service was held today at Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta.
Mr. Hatter was born in Aiken, Okla.,on June 18,1923.
He was the son of the late Sam and Ida (Barrett) Hatter.
Survivors include: sons, Jimmy Hatter of Leon, Sammy Hatter of Tulsa, Okla.; daughters, Lila Hagebusch of Lumberton, Texas, Jaydena Church of Augusta, Charlotte Hatter of El Dorado, Sherry Martin of Claremore, Okla.; sisters, Wanda Floyd and Elnore Long, both of Salisaw, Okla.; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by: wife, Ruth Hatter; son, Jerry; daughter. Regina Duggins.
Memorials to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market, Wichita, 67202.
Arrangements were directed by Headley Funeral Chapel of Augusta.

Clifford Nichols

Clifford “Nick” Nichols, 74, Derby, currently of Rock, father of Danny Nichols of Douglass, died Thursday, Oct. 30, 2003.
His funeral service was held today, Nov. 3, at Smith Mortuary in Derby.
Other survivors include: wife, Arlene; daughters, Nicky Molloy, Patty Shaver, Cindy Williams, all of Derby, Brenda
Butler of Wichita; four step children; three brothers; three sisters; 12 grandchildren; 12 step grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice.
Smith Mortuary of Derby had charge of the arrangements.

Faye Seglem

H. Faye Seglem, 86, rural Augusta, homemaker, died Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2003.
Her funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 1, at the Leon United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Blankenship Cemetery, Rosalia.
Survivors include: daughters, Donna Wilkinson of El Dorado, Debra Crissup of rural Augusta; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: husband, Kenneth Seglem; parents, Guy and Grace (Blankenship) Brickley; granddaughter, Melissa; one brother and two sisters.
Memorial has been established with the Leon United Methodist Church and the Leon Senior Center.
Carlson Funeral Home of El Dorado has charge of the arrangements.

Eual Bradford

Eual Bradford, 75, Augusta, retired Knebler Construction heavy equipment operator, passed away on Friday, Nov. 7, 2003.
His graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 1, at Resthaven Cemetery in Wichita.
Visitation with family present will be from 6 to 8 p.m. this evening, Nov. 10, at Headley Funeral Chapel in Augusta.
Mr. Bradford was born in Floydada, Texas, on Dec. 27, 1927.
He also owned a custom harvesting business and was a United States Army veteran serving in France.

He was the husband of Alice Bradford for 30 years. In addition to His wife, he is survived by: daughter,
Sharon Page; sons, Howard Bradford, Johnny Bradford; step daughters, Dawn Salyer, Nancy Black, Connie King; brothers, Sammy Bradford, Pat Bradford, Mike Bradford; sisters, Nikki Anderson, Glenda Sue Robbs; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
Family requests donations to the Veterans Community Center, 427 State, Augusta, 67010.
Headley Funeral Chapel of Augusta has charge of the arrangements.
