Francis E. Wallace Sr.

Francis Earl Wallace Sr., 97, Gun Barrel City, Texas, formerly of Augusta, retired Santa Fe Railroad employee, died Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2003.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 14, at Lakeview Cemetery in Wichita.
Survivors include: son, Francis Earl, Jr. of Baxter Springs; daughters, Evelyn Channell of Seven Points, Texas, Lenora Moses and Grace Thomason Colli, both of Gun Barrel,Texas, Mary Wilcox of Kansas; sister, Myra Smith of Kansas; eighjt stepsons, numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Hillside Funeral Home of Augusta has charge of the arrangements.

Pauline Ruth Johnston

Pauline Ruth Johnston, 91, Augusta, retired school teacher and homemaker, died Friday, Nov. 14, 2003.
Memorial buffet for family and friends from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 28, at 125 Harrington in Augusta.
Survivors are: daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Duane Pangrac of Augusta; grandsons, Layne Pangrac of Kansas City, Mo., Joel Pangrac of Richmond, Mo., and Lale Pangrac of Houston, Texas; three greatgrandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Pauline Johnston Memorial Fund at Wichita Collegiate School, P.O. Box 782768, Wichita, 67278-2768.
Hillside Funeral Home of Augusta is handling the arrangements.

Harvey P. Whitehill

Harvey P. Whitehill, 81, Latham, father and father-in-law of James and Donna Whitehill of Augusta, died Thursday, Nov. 13, 2003.
He was a retired Cessna Aircraft employee, farmer and a United States Navy veteran.
His funeral service was held this morning at M i 1 e s
Funeral Home in Winfield. Burial followed at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, south of Winfield.
Other survivors include: wife, Vada of the home; sons, Wayne Whitehill of Latham,
Dean Whitehill of Garden City, Rex Whitehill of Chestnut Ridge, Mo., David Whitehill of Latham; daughter, Janet McCauley of Grove, Okla.; brother, Marvin Whitehill of Wichita; 12 grandchildren; three step grandchildren; 11 greatgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Katherine (Winter)
Whitehill, and grandson, Shane Whitehill.
Memorials have been established at the Burden FFA and the Prairie View United Methodist Church.
Miles Funeral Service of Winfield had charge of the arrangements.

Marjorie Hatch

Marjorie Hatch, 84, Wichita, retired Eastside National Bank vice president and homemaker, mother of Jerry Hatch of Augusta, died Saturday, Nov. 15, 2003.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Calvary United Methodist Church in Wichita.
Other survivors include: son, Maurice . Hatch of Wichita; daughter, Barbara Shields of Chatsworth, Calif.; brother, Clifford Wilson of Borger, Texas; sisters, Gilda Smith of Redding, Calif., Wilma Ward of Caney; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grand-children.
Memorial has been established with Hospice Care of Kansas, 3241 E. Victor Place, Wichita, 67208.
Downing and Lahey Mortuary is handling the arrangements.
