David Clymer

David H. Clymer, retired owner-publisher of the El Dorado Times newspaper, died Friday, Dec. 12, 2003 at age 79.
His funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16, at the First United Methodist Church in El Dorado.
Mr. Clymer leaves his wife, Sherry of the home; son Richard Clymer of Fairbanks, Alaska; daughters Ara Stern of Seaside, Calif, Kristine LaForge of Wichita, and Victoria Hunt of Phoenix, Ariz.; three grandchildren, and one greatgrandchild.
Memorials to Partners in Education have been suggested.
Kirby-Morris Funeral Home of El Dorado is in charge of arrangements.

Elmer Delaplain

Elmer D. Delaplain, 84, Iola, retired Coleman Co. employee and United States Army veteran, father of Loretta Campbell of Augusta, died Saturday, Dec. 13, 2003.
His funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16, at Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Chapel in Iola.
Other survivors include: wife, Virginia of the home; two brothers: four sisters.
Memorial to Alzheimer’s Unit at Winsor Place Nursing Center in Iola.
Arrangements under direction of Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Chapel of Iola.

Lauretta Gillespie

Lauretta Glenora Gillespie, 82, Coffeyville, mother of Gary Gillespie of Augusta, died Saturday, Dec. 13, 2003.
Her service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 17, at Ford-Wulf-Burns Funeral Home in Coffeyville.
Other survivors are: sons, Leon of Broken Arrow, Okla., Mitchell of South Coffeyville, Okla.; daughter, Diana Walker of Catoosa, Okla.; sister, Naomi Littrell of Coffeyville; 17 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grand-children.
Ford-Wulf-Burns Funeral Home of Coffeyville has charge of the arrangements.

Gary Wayne Leach

Gary Wayne Leach, 48, . Rose Hill, Cessna Aircraft j machinist, father of Jessica Winger of Douglass, died Sunday, Dec. 14, 2003.
His funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 18, at Lakeview Funeral Home in Wichita. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
Other survivors include: wife, Judith; children, Amy Ramsey of Rose Hill, Wes Leach of Ft. Bragg, N.C.; two grandchildren; brother, Dan Leach of Miami, Okla.; parents, Virgil and Lillian Leach of Grove, Okla.; grandmother, Frances Linn of Colcord, Okla.
He was preceded in death by brother, Dave Leach.
Lakeview Funeral Home of Wichita has charge of the arrangements.

Creola M. Reschke

Creola M. Reschke, 90, Rose Hill, mother of Fred Reschke, formerly of Augusta, died Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2003.
Her funeral service was held Saturday, Dec. 20,2003, at Rose Hill United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Reschke was the retired office manager for Reschke Machine Works in Wichita.
She was preceded in death by her husband Fredrick Paul Reschke.
In addition to son Fred and spouse Judy Reschke of Andover, she leaves son Merle and spouse Mary Reschke of Rose Hill; daughters, Jane and spouse Jim Ward of Rose Hill, Donna and spouse Bill Johnson of Wichita; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial established with Total Homecare & Hospice, 250 W. Douglas, Wichita, 67202.
Hillside Funeral Home East of Wichita had charge of the arrangements.
