Olga G. Schaar, 84, Wichita, retired dietary aide, mother of Tom Webb of Augusta, died Monday, Dec. 22, 2003.
Her funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 29, at All Faiths Funeral Service in Wichita.
Other survivors include: son, Gene Webb of Potwin; six grandchildren; 11 greatgrandchildren.
Arrangements are under the directions of All Faiths Funeral Service of Wichita.
orothy L. Shepherd
Dorothy “Dottie” L. Shepherd, 83, Wichita, retired Westons Restaurant owner and city hall food service employee, stepmother of Debra Guardiola of Augusta, died Sunday, Dec. 21, 2003.
Her funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 26, at the First Church of the Brethren in Wichita.
Other survivors are: husband, Barney of the home; daughters, Jenny Stephens, Patty Shepherd, Joanette Hickey, all of Wichita; stepsons, Robert and Victor Shepherd of Ark City, Michael Shepherd of Wichita; stepdaughters, Peggy Mangano of Houston, Texas, Callie Hultberg of Wichita; 18 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren.
Memorial established with Mothers and Others, 234 S. Anna, Wichita, 67209.
Cochran Mortuary of Wichita is handling the arrangements.
Carol J. Carroll
Carol J. Carroll, 65, Augusta, homemaker, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 25, 2003.
Her graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 29, at River View Cemetery in Arkansas City.
Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. on Saturday and 1 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, at Headley Funeral Chapel of Augusta.
Carol was born in Arkansas City on Aug. 20, 1938, the daughter of the late Jay David and Amanda Jane (Gerrett) Mott.
On May 12, 1956, she married Jeff Carroll in Arkansas City.
Survivors are: husband, Jeff Carroll of the home; son, Jeffery Carroll of Augusta; daughter, Crystal Lee Carroll of Augusta; sister, Violet Kimsey of Medicine Lodge; grandchild, Jamie M. Evans, great-grandchildren, Braden, Ashely and Caleb, all of Winfield.
Mrs. Carroll was preceded in death by daughter, Katherine Lee Bradley and brother, Clifford Butcher.
Headley Funeral Chapel of Augusta is handling the arrangements.
Lois H. Church
Lois H. Church, 87, East Hempfield, Pa., formerly of Wichita, and sister of Dulcia March of Douglass, died Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2003.
Her memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 3, 2004 at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church in Wichita.
Other survivors include: sons, Larry T. Church of Wichita, Kip E. Church and Robin D. Church, both of Lancaster County, Penn.; two granddaughters, brothers, Virgil Hershey and Jay Hershey, both of Wichita; sister, Carolee Hubeli of Wichita; many nieces and nephews.
Boyd Funeral Home of West Chester, Penn, has charge of the arrangements.

Eunice L. McDaniel, 69, Augusta, died Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2003.
Her funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 29, 2003 at the Resthaven Chapel.

Erma Merritt
Erma Merritt of Rose Hill died Thursday, Dec. 25, 2003.
