Ruth M. Maddox
Ruth M. Maddox, 77, Augusta, died Friday, Jan. 16,2004.
Her funeral service was held today, Jan. 19, at Headley F u n’e r a 1 Chapel in Augusta.
She was born on Dec. 19. 1926 in Wilmot, the daughter of the late John and Grace (Gardner) Eastman.
She was a devoted and loving mother, as well as owner of Ruth M. Maddox & Co., an accounting office.
Survivors include daughters, Linda Mann of Goddard, Judy and husband,
Steve Shryock of Augusta, Vicki and husband, Dr. Scott Brooks of Wichita, Sandy and husband, Matt Heit of Overland Park; sisters, Leona Jordan of Arkansas City, Janice McGowan of Enid, Okla.., Louise Stevenson of Winfield; sis-ter-in-law, Hilma Webber of Winfield.
Grandchildren are Jan and Danny Frazier, Brett and Collette Primm, Robert and Sue Mann, Brent and Sherry Shryock, Shannon and Chad McDaniel. Adam Shryock, Casey Heit, Nick Heit, Tyler
and Lisa Brooks, Aaron Brooks; great-grandchildren, Jamie, Jeff and Joey Frazier, Blake and Abi Primm, Taylor and Jaden Shryock, Kylie McDaniel, Lauren and Libby Brooks.
Memorials established with Total Homecare and Hospice and the Augusta First Christian Church.
Headley Funeral Chapel of Augusta had charge of the arrangements.

Julia A. Lindley, 67, Winfield, sister of Ruth Finley of Douglass, died Thursday, Jan. 15, 2004.
Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the Akron Cemetery in rural Cowley County.
Other survivors include: daughter, Debbie Gazaway of Wichita; twin brother, Jim Ireton of Colo.; brother, Bob Ireton of Winfield; two grandchildren.
Swisher-Taylor & Morris Funeral Home of Winfield is handling the arrangements.
Carolyn Rose Kendall
Carolyn Rose Kendall, 67, Wichita, sister of Richard Breed, Jr. of Augusta, died Thursday, Jan. 15, 2004.
A memorial mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 21, at St. James Catholic Church in Augusta.
Other survivors are: daughter, Kellie Ann Koehler of Marengo, 111.; son, Ward L. Kendall of Hillsboro, Mo.; motHer. Frances Kilmer of Wichita; brothers, Max W. Kilmer, Jr. of Hillsboro, Ronald W. Kilmer of Springfield, Mo., Kevin J. Kilmer of Vincennes, Ind., sister, Kandace K. Ubelhour of Coatsville, Ind.; two grandchildren; one step-granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Trinity Hospice, LLC.
Hillside Funeral Home East of Augusta has charge of the arrangements.
Della F. Cook
Della F. Cook, 71, Wichita, homemaker, mother and mother-in-law of Bob and Kathy Cook of Augusta, died Saturday, Jan. 17, 2004.
Her funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 21, at the Douglas Ave. Assembly of God in Wichita.
Visitation until 8 p.m. this evening with family present from 5 to 7 p.m. at ~ Culbertson-Smith Mortuary ^ in Wichita.
Other survivors include: husband, Robert; daughters, | Barbara Foster, Delores
Bowler of Wichita; son, Larry of Wichita; brother, Paul of Marshfield, Mo.; sisters, Juanita Graves of Strafford, Mo., Shirley
Taylor of Marshfield, Mo.; 12 grandchildren, and 15 greatgrandchildren.
Culbertson-Smith Mortuary of Wichita has charge of the arrangements.
Wilburn Robberson
Wilburn Robberson, 74, Enid, Okla., retired fire chief civil service at McConnell Air Force Base and assistant fire chief at Boeing Aircraft, grandfather of Jana Barnes of Augusta, died Saturday, Jan. 17, 2004.
His funeral service was held today, Jan. 20, at Willow View United Methodist Church and burial in Corzine Cemetery at Corbin, Kan.
Other survivors are: wife, Martha of the home; children, Belinda Robberson of Wichita, Michael Robberson of Fort Myers, Fla., Tracey Small of Caldwell; 14 grandchildren, and two greatgrandchildren.
Arrangements were under the direction of Henninger-Allen Funeral Home of Enid, Okla.
