Gene Wilson

Gene Wilson, 72, Augusta, died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2004.
Service arrangements were pending this morning with Headley Funeral Chapel of Augusta.

Randall Scott Anderson

Randall Scott “Randy” Anderson, 50, North Fort Myers, Fla., father and father-in-law of Sara Ann and Justin Bird of Augusta, died Sunday, Jan. .25, 2004.
Graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 29, at Lee Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery in Fort Myers, Fla.
Other survivors include: wife, Connie; parents, Max and Barbara Anderson of Ft. Myers; son, Bryan Allen Anderson of Punta Gorda, Fla.; brother, Rex Anderson of Sacramento, Calif.
Lee Memorial Park Funeral Home of Fort Myers, Fla., has charge of the arrangements.

Joan Ladage

Joan Ladage, 69, Wichita, mother of Denise Rhodes of Augusta, died Saturday, Jan. 24, 2004.
Her funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 29, in the Garden Chapel of Watson Funeral Home in Wichita.
Other survivors are: sons, Terry and Randy Osgood of Wichita, daughter, Rosie Osgood of Pasadena, Texas; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
Arrangements are under the direction of Watson Funeral Home of Wichita.

Gene Wilson

Gene Wilson, 72, Augusta, died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2004.
A service to celebrate his life will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 30, at the First Christian Church in Augusta.
Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. today, Jan. 29, with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. at Headley Funeral Chapel of Augusta.
Donald Eugene Wilson was born in Augusta on Sept. 3, 1931. He was the son of the late Frank and Tulsa Wilson.
He worked 35 years as a brick layer at Volmer Construction and Builders of Kansas.
He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War.
Survivors are: son, Bryan and his wife, Tammy Wilson of Augusta; daughter, Tanya Wilson of Augusta; former spouse, Fay Wilson of Augusta; brothers, Frank Wilson of Dallas, Texas, Jerry “Frog” Wilson of Orange Grove, Fla.; sisters, Thelma Wilson, Phyllis Brunson, both of Augusta, and Judy Holden of Andover; granddaughter, Abby Wilson and grandson, Travis Wilson.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Carl, Darrell and Tom, and sister, Bonnie.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Christian Church of Augusta.
Headley Funeral Chapel of Augusta has charge of the arrangements.

Ralph H. Stackley Jr.

Ralph H. Stackley Jr., 61, rural Augusta, Boeing Aircraft tool maker and member of the Kansas National Guard, died Monday, Jan. 26, 2004.
His funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 30, at Carlson Funeral Home in El Dorado. Interment will follow in Walnut Valley Memorial Park.
Survivors are: special friend, Pauletta Carlson of Wichita; mother, Hazel Stackley of El Dorado; brothers, Tom Stackley of El Dorado, Leslie “Rick” Stackley of St. Paul, Minn.; sister, Jill Stackley of Kechi.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Stackley.
Memorials in his memory for the Kidney Foundation may be left at Carlson Funeral Home which is handling the arrangements.
