ZiRita Parcell

ZiRita R. (Bechtel) Parcell, 89, Augusta, retired salesperson, died Sunday, Jan. 29, 2004.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 6, at Hillside Funeral Home East in Wichita.
Survivors are: son, Robert Eldon Parcell of Argyle, Texas; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by son, Ronald Ray Parcell and sister, Dora Jane Wilson.
Memorial established with First Christian Church of Augusta.
Hillside Funeral Home East of Wichita is handling the arrangements.

Roger J. Huff

Roger J. Huff, 73, Rose Hill, retired sheet metal worker and United States Air Force technical sergeant serving during the Korean War, died Sunday, Feb. 1, 2004.
His funeral service was held at 10:30 a.m. today,
Feb. 5, at Dunsford Funeral Chapel in Augusta. Visitation
was possible Wednesday evening, Feb. 4, at Dunsford Funeral Home.
Survivors are: wife, Elsie Huff of Rose Hill; stepson, Roger Meeks of Rose Hill; brother, Gary Huff of Neodesha; grandsons, Shane Meeks, Chris Meeks, Bob Meeks, Kale Meeks; greatgrandchildren, Ashley, Zacharee, Aunikka.
Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Kansas.
Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta has charge of the arrangements.

Wanda M. Price

Former Augusta resident Wanda Mae Price, 71, Medford, Okla., died Friday, Feb. 6, 2004.
Her funeral service was held this afternoon, Feb. 9, at Dunsford Funeral Home in Augusta.
Survivors are: brothers, James of Aliceville, Stanley of Orange Park, Fla., Roger of Silsbee, Texas; sisters, Norma Poore of Andover, Winona Brown of Pawhuska, Okla., Brenda Blowers of El Dorado.
Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta handled the arrangements.

Carl Firebaugh

Carl S. Firebaugh, 96, Boulder, Colo., formerly of Augusta, retired school teacher, died Thursday, Feb. 5, 2004.
His funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 10, at Headley Funeral Chapel in Augusta. Internment will be at Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta.
He was born on Oct. 6, 1907 in Cleburne to Alvin and Lina Stevenson Firebaugh. He married Gertrude L. Angel on Dec. 6, 1938 in Hays. She preceded him in death.
He is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth (James) Shipton of Arvada, Colo.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his name to Exempla Lutheran Hospital, 8300 W. 38th Ave., Wheatridge, CO, 80033.

Donald Fiscus

Donald Lee Fiscus, 70, Wichita, retired United States Postal clerk and United States Navy Korean War veteran, stepfather of Will Huxtable of Augusta, died Friday, Feb. 6, 2004.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m Wednesday, Feb. 11, at Cochran Mortuary in Wichita.
Other survivors include: wife, Nina of the home; children, Glenda Fiscus, Donna Ellis, Stacy Fiscus, Tony Fiscus, Grace Fiscus; stepchildren, Scott
Huxtable, Janeen Smith, Becky Brown; siblings, Bill Durham, Gene Fiscus, Doris Swank, Mary Lou Sales and Betty Hime; 15 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with the Leukemia Society of America.
Cochran Mortuary of Wichita is handling the arrangements.
