Barbara Ecton
Barbara Ann Ecton, 74, Augusta, homemaker, died on Wednesday, March 3, 2004.
Her graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 6, at Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday,.March 5, at Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta.
She was born on May 30, 1929 in Pratt.
Survivors include: son and daughter-in-law, William and Verna Ecton of Augusta, Dan and Barbara Ecton of Hebron, Conn.; daughter, Sandy Chance of Augusta; son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Sue Ecton of St. Charles, Mo.; sister, Jean Donald of Cottonwood, Ariz.; brother and sister-in-law, Claude and Faye Templeman of Mineola; six grandchildren; two greatgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by; her parents; husband, Willis Ecton in 1998; step father, W.C. Crowder.
Memorials may go to the Arthritis Foundation.
Dunsford Funeral Horne of Augusta has charge of the arrangements.

De Etta Maggie (Smith) Hanna, 91, Cimarron, mother of Charles Hanna of Augusta, died Saturday, March 6, 2004.
Her funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Cimarron First Christian Church.
Other survivors are: sons, Vernon of Cimarron, Jon of Holton; nine grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren.
Swaim Funeral Home of Cimarron is handling the arrangements.
John Goertz Sr.
John F. Goertz Sr., 90, Newton, retired heavy equipment mechanic, brother of Heddie Goertz of Augusta, died Friday, March 5, 2004.
His service has been held.
Other survivors include: son, John Goertz Jr. of Newton; sister, Emma Goertz of Wichita, Alberta Mates of Texas, and one grandson.
Petersen Funeral Home of Newton has charge of the arrangements.
Patricia R. Dean
Patricia R. Dean, 72, Augusta, retired Learjet employee, died Friday, March 5, 2004.
There will be no service.
Survivors are: husband, James Dean; brothers, Jerry and John Brose of Marion; sisters, Jeanine and Michelle Brose of Colorado Springs.
All Faiths Funeral Home of Wichita is handling the arrangements.

Jerry Wayne Layton, 53,. Canby, Ore., died Feb. 18,2004.*
His memorial graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 11, at Rose Hill Cemetery.
Survivors are: wife, Nita K.; son, Daniel; step sons, Charlie and Shane Hutcheson, all of Wichita; brother, Dale of Tigard, Ore.; sisters, Lucille Edmonds of Santa Ana, Calif., Connie Goodman of Milwaukee, Ore., Pamela Jones of Canby, Ore.; two granddaughters.
Arrangements are under the direction of Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta.
