Dave Patterson

Dave Patterson, 56, Douglass, died Saturday, March 20, 2004.
His funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 24, at First Baptist Church in Augusta.
Visitation from 10a.m. to 8 pm, with family from 4 to 7 pm Tuesday, March 23, at Headley Funeral Chapel.
Mr. Patterson was born on Nov. 28, 1947 in St. Louis, Mo., the son of the late John William and Vera Lucille (Snead) Patterson.
He worked for the American Red Cross and at Boeing Aircraft for 21 years.
He was a Vietnam Veteran. On May 22, 1993 he married Kay Lasiter in Augusta. She survives.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by: sons, Eric and Adam, both of Mulvane; daughter, Robin James and husband, Mark of Wichita; step sons, Jeffrey Lasiter of Augusta and Christopher Lasiter of Amarillo, Texas; brother, Danny Patterson of St. Louis, Mo.; grandsons, Brandon, Jordan and Charlie; granddaughters, Aysa, Katie and Alex.
He was preceded in death by brother, John. Memorials are requested to Disabled American Vets.
Headley Funeral Chapel of Augusta is handling the arrangements.

Tyler E. Kropf

Tyler E. Kropf, 33, Augusta, passed away Thursday, March 18, 2004.
This 1989 Bluestem High School graduate was a driver for Kropf Trucking.
His funeral service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 23, in the Bluestem High School Gymnasium in Leon.
Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery at Augusta.
Visitation is possible at the Headley Funeral Chapel of Augusta until 8 p.m. this evening.
Tyler was active in high school athletics and loved baseball.
On March 9, 2001, he married Dana (Gowan) in El Dorado. She survives.
Also surviving are daughter Kennadi Jo Kropf, father Eldon Kropf and his wife Lynn, all of Leon, mother Shirley West of El Dorado, sister Gia Hertal and her husband Ben of Coffeyville, Okla., grandmother Hope Kropf of El Dorado, mother-and father-in-law Mary and Dewayne Gowan, sisters-in-law Tia Tia Krolick and Amy McCune, nieces and nephews Trevor Hertal, Christian and Bailey Krolick, Kelby and Cayden McCune.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, A.H. Kropf, Kenneth and Mildred Lill.

Charlotte M. Holliday

Charlotte M. Holliday, 84, Augusta, died Thursday, March 11,2004.
A memorial celebration will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 2, at Cottonwood Point in Augusta.
She was born on Sept. 19, 1919 in Independence and was a resident of Augusta since 1942.
For many years she served as a nurse in various medical offices in Augusta and at Mobil Refinery.
Survivors include: son and daughter-in-law, Don and Judy Holliday of Tucson, Ariz.; daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and Mike Cooper of Augusta; sister and brother-in-law, Connie and Carl Tucker of Bonner Springs; brother and sister-in-law, Don and Tealy Calkins of Independence; four granddaughters; one great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard.
Memorial contributions may be made to Wichita Children’s Home, 810 N. Holyoke, Wichita, 67208.
Watson’s Garden Chapel of Wichita has charge of the arrangements

Patricia Ann Shirley

Patricia Ann Shirley, 63, Douglass, retired Boeing planner and Cessna layup designer, died Friday, March 19, 2004.
Her funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Westside Freewill Baptist Church in Wichita.
Survivors are: son, John K. Patrick of Wichita; daughters, Sheryl Ott, Deborah M. Crandall, Sandra J. Sills, all of Douglass, Barbara Bell of Derby; brother, Colin Arndt of Rago; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
Services are under the direction of Watson’s Garden Chapel of Wichita.
