Charles L. Malcom

Charles Loyal Malcom, . 78, Augusta, retired Beech , Aircraft employee, died Wednesday, May 5, 2004.
His funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, i May 10, at Hope Community Church in Ahdover. Internment will be at 4 p.m. at the Sheldon, Mo. Cemetery.
Charles served in United States Air Force and was a veteran of World War II.
He retired from Beech Aircraft after 36 years in 1987. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Visitation will be from 1 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, May 9, with family present from 2 to 4 p.m., at Hillside Funeral Home in Augusta.
His survivors include: wife, Edith Malcom of Augusta; sons and daughter-in-law, Charles L. and Marti Malcom of Houston, Texas, Elvie Malcom of Augusta; daughters and sons-in-law, Pamela and Bill Brock of Douglass, Mary and Larry Keefer of Rose Hill, Martha and Edward Brooks of El Dorado; brothers and sisters-in-law, Joe and Dee Malcom, Don and Elaine Malcom, all of Sheldon, Mo.; sister and
brother-in-law, Opal and Jim Heibert of Buckeye, Ariz.; grandchildren, Travis, Sarah, Tom, Joe, Kris, Stephanie, Nathan, Travis, Ginny, Penny, Peggy, and Kanfield; 16 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elvie and Hazel Malcom.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hillside Funeral Home of Augusta.



Sandra Dean Lauber

Sandra Dean Lauber, 61, Wichita, sister of Richard Lauber of Augusta, died Wednesday, May 5, 2004.
There will be a private family graveside service.
Other survivors included numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Lodine Lauber.
Hillside Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.

Clarence E. Strauhs

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 14, at Atlanta United Methodist Church and burial will follow in the Atlanta Cemetery.
Visitation from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. today, May 13, at Hilyard-Smith Funeral Home in Derby.
Survivors are: wife, Dorothy J. Strauhs of Douglass; daughters, Dorothy Whiteman of Cambridge, Carol Bell of Douglass; sister, Pauline Jamison of Atlanta; brother, Carl E. Strauhs of Blackwell, Okla.; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
Memorial has been established with Midian Shrine Plane of Mercy Fund.
Arrangements are under the direction of Smith Mortuary of Derby.

Charles Lindberg

Charles August Lindberg, 75, Wellington, step father of Bette McGlothlin of Augusta, died Tuesday, May 11,2004.
His funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, MAY 14, at Prairie Lawn Cemetery in Wellington.
Other survivors include: wife, Sue; sons, Glenn, Alma, Charles III, all of Wichita; daughter, Denise Williams of Austin, Texas; step daughter, Cindy Todd of Wichita; sister, LaDora Tessmer of South St. Paul, Minn.
Frank Funeral Home of Wellington is handling the arrangements.
