John Roy Leffers

John Roy Leffers, 59, Augusta, Dunsford Funeral maintenance worker, and United States Army Vietnam veteran died Thursday, May 13, 2004
Service arrangements were pending this morning in Nebraska.
His survivors include: sons, John W. Leffers of Columbus, Neb., Travis J. Leffers of Omaha, Neb.; daughters, Christine Korth and Cheryl Kraus, both of Columbus, Neb.; brothers, Robert H. Leffers of Skyler, Neb., Leonard and Tom Leffers, both of Columbus, Neb.; sister, Marie Nielson of Norfolk, Neb.; eight grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be sent to: John Leffers Memorial Fund c/o McKown Funeral Home, 2922 13th St., Columbus, Neb., 68601.
Local arrangements are being handled by Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta.

Jack D. Bolinger

Jack D. Bolinger, 85, Orlando, Fla., formerly of Augusta, retired realtor and United States Navy and Merchant Marines veteran, died Saturday, May 15, 2004.
His funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 20, at the Funeral Home in Orlando. Interment will take place at the Chapel Hill Cemetery in Orlando.
His survivors include: son, Daniel Bolinger of Orlando; daughter, Patti Booher of Orlando; seven grandchildren; three greatgrandchildren.
Arrangements are under the direction of Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home of Orlando.

Jessie Esther Fletcher

Jessie Esther Fletcher, 82, Andover, retired St. Francis Hospital Pediatrics Intensive Care Unit Clerk, mother of Phyllis Ann James of Augusta, died Wednesday, May 12, 2004.
Her funeral service was held this morning, May 17, at Trinity United Methodist Church in Wichita and graveside service was held this afternoon at the Fredonia City Cemetery in Fredonia.
Survivors include: other daughters, Rachel K. Robb and Marie Frances Sanger, both of Andover; son, John Robert Fletcher of Wichita; 14 grandchildren; 24 greatgrandchildren.
A memorial has been established in her name with I the Trinity United Methodist I Church and may be sent to Timmons Funeral Home, P.O. Box 168, Fredonia, KS 66736.

Lila Jane Shockey

Lila Jane (McIntosh) Shockey, 85, Wichita, homemaker, formerly of Augusta and sister of Helen Harrison of Augusta, died Friday, May 14, 2004.
Her funeral service will be 1 held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May < 18, at Broadway Mortuary in Wichita. Burial will be at noon at Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta.
Family visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m this evening, May 17.
Other survivors include: sons and their wives, Michael and Shari of Newton, Thomas and Jana of Haysville; daughters and husbands, Diana and Richard Smith of Irving, Texas, Janie and Charles Leonard of Wichita; 12 grandchildren;
18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lauren.
A memorial has been established with Kansas Masonic Home.
Broadway Mortuary of Wichita has charge of the arrangements.
