Stella J.(Phillips) Bird, 71, Augusta, retired hairdresser, died Monday, May 17, 2004.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 20, at Hillside Funeral Home Chapel in Augusta.
Visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 19, at Hillside Funeral Home in £ Augusta.
^ Her survivors are: ’sons, ,sDean Bird of Augusta, 5 Edward Phillips; son-in-law, h Dale Sims, Jr.; brothers, Bill J Phillips of Dumas, Texas, “ Glen Phillips of Guymon, Okla.; sister, Bernice Schmidt of Pueblo, Colo.; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by parents, husband, Lee H. Bird and daughter, Pamila Sims.
Memorial donations may be made to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hillside Funeral Home of Augusta.

Glenn H. Wharton, 91, Richmond, farmer and stock-man, father and father-in-law of Debbie and Kevin Phillips of Augusta, died Sunday, May 16,2004.
His funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 19, at Farris-Feuerbom
Memorial Chapel in Garnett. Burial will be at the Richmond Cemetery in Richmond.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 18, at Farris-Feuerborn Memorial Chapel in Garnett.
Other survivors include: sons, David Wharton of Richmond, Terry Wharton of Tumbling Shoals, Ark.; daughter, Donna Baker of Princeton; brother, Vernon Wharton of Pensacola, Fla.; 16 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by Farris-Feuerbom Memorial Chapel in Garnett.
Lloyd J. Wherrell
Lloyd James Wherrell, 75, Newton, brother-in-law of Phillip Cook and Esther Lane of Augusta, died Friday, May 14, 2004.
His funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, at Peterson Funeral Home in Newton.
Other survivors include: wife, Elizabeth; sons, Michael and Marc; daughters, Mary Ann Lasiter, Myra Hilmer; sisters, Rose Marie Lindsey, Catherine Schmidt, Delores Sartain; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
Peterson Funeral Home of Newton has charge of the arrangements.
Billie Hawkins Stanley
Billie Hawkins Stanley, . 38, Hardy, Ark., formerly of > Augusta and adopted son of ; Doug and Norma Stanley of * Augusta, died Monday, May ' 17, 2004.
His funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 22, at Heath Oak Hill Chapel in Hardy, Ark. Burial will be at Baker Cemetery in Ozark Acres, Ark.
Other survivors are: son, Colby Tate Stanley of Copperas Cove, Texas; brothers, Bobby Hawkins of Plano, Texas, David Stanley of Manhattan, Kans.; sisters, Glenda Fruitt of Olive Branch, Miss., Patricia Gilmer and Lisa Ann Short, both of Hardy, Ark., Wanda Billings of Robertsdale, Ala.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
Heath Funeral Home of Hardy, Ark. is handling the arrangements.

Roma “Rae” Cavett Bonham, 63, Wichita, retired USD 402 school bus driver, died Wednesday, May 19, 2004.
Her funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 22, at Lakeview Funeral Home in Wichita.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today, May 21, at Lakeview Funeral Home.
Survivors include: husband, Bert L. Bonham of Latham; children, Janet Rae Bonham of El Dorado, Tony Lee Bonham of Latham; sister, Le Ann Neidig of Bartlesville, Okla.; two grandchildren.
Arrangements are under the direction of Lakeview Funeral Home of Wichita.
