Jacquelin ‘Jackie’ Kay Hutter

Homemaker Jacquelin “Jackie” Kay Hutter, 60, Hutchinson, died Monday, May 31, 2004.
Cremation has taken place.
Her memorial service will be 2 p.m. Friday, June,4, at First Southern Baptist Church in Hutchinson.
She was a graduate of Augusta High School and attended Emporia State University.
She leaves her husband, John C. Hutter Jr.; three daughters, Jeannine Hutter and Tommie Hutter, both of Independence, Mo., and Tammie Caley of Hutchinson, and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Jimmy Dale Van Meter.
The Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, Crematory, & Cemetery has charge of arrangements.

Lois Galbraith

Homemaker Lois A. Galbraith, 82, Augusta, passed away Tuesday, June 1, 2004.
Her funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday, June 4, at Headley Funeral Chapel of Augusta. Visitation will be possible there from 10 to 8 on Thursday and the family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
Survivors include son Mike and wife Nancy Galbraith of Augusta; Pat Galbraith of Derby; daughter Sharon and husband Craig Henry of Augusta; sister Martha Payne of Cottonwood, Ariz.; five grandchildren, six great grandchildren , and lifetime friends and companions, the Rolland Willard family of Burden.
She was preceded in death by her husband,Joseph.

James Roberts

Former Clearwater resident James Craig Roberts, 54, Dickinson, Texas, passed away Monday, May 31, 2004.
He was the son of Louise Roberts of Augusta and brother of Linda Clark of Augusta.
His funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 2, at Headley Funeral Chapel in Augusta.
Visitation will be possible between 6 and 8 o’clock this evening at the chapel.
Mr. Roberts worked for Case in Wichita and was Vietnam veteran.
In addition to his mother and sister, he leaves son Shane and wife Pam Roberts of Clearwater; daughters Amy and her husband Kerry Clark of Greencastle, Ind., Jodie and her husband Chris Saengerhausen of Wichita; brother Lewis W. Roberts of San Leon, Texas, Michael Roberts of Andover, David Roberts of Douglass, Danny Roberts of Coldspring, Texas, Bob Roberts of El Dorado; and grandchildren James Thomas, Denea Clark and Amber Saengerhausen.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lewis Roberts.
Memorials to the American Cancer Society have been suggested.
Headley Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Vivian Maude Thomas

Vivian Maude Thomas, 93, Augusta, died Saturday, May 29, 2004.
No local service is planned.
She leaves sons Charles, Jay, and Wayne Woolsey; daughters Ruth Cudd, June Houchins, Kathryn Terner, Karen Battles, Elmary Hilman, and several grandchildren.
The Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta is in charge of arrangements.

Marl W. Dicus

Marl W. Dicus. 87, Wichita, brother of Evilee Anderson of Augusta, died Wednesday, May 26, 2004.
A private memorial service has been held.
In addition to the sister here, he leaves wife Hattie; daughters Blondena Lank of wichita and Marlene Barnes of Kent. Wash.; sons William Dicus of Wichita, Lawrence Dicus of Leon, and Norman Dicus of Derby; sister s Hazel Aragon of Wichita and Anita Reay of Sun City, Ariz,. brother George Wagoner of Tyler, Texas; q4 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
The Lakeview Funeral Home of Wichita has charge of services.
