Michael B. ‘Mike’ Gross

Michael B. “Mike” Gross, 49, Wichita, sheet metal worker, brother of Cindy Gross of Augusta, died Thursday, June 10, 2004,
Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Clearwater Cemetery in Clearwater.
Other survivors include: parents, Joe and Juanita Gross of Wichita; sister, Karen Fish of Wichita.
Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services of Wichita is handling the arrangements.

Harold Freeman

Funeral arrangements for Harold Freeman, 74, Leon, were pending this morning at the Headley Funeral Chapel of Augusta.

Mildred J. Ellington

Mildred J. “Shug” Ellington, 79, Wichita, retired Edo-Aire stockroom lead, mother and mother-in-law of Marvin and Marsha Ellington of Augusta, died Tuesday, June 15, 2004.
Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, at Resthaven Gardens of Memory in Wichita.
Other survivors include: sister, Wilda Smith of Wichita; grandchildren, Melanie Budda of Augusta, Marlin Ellington of St, Joseph, Mo.; great-grandchildren, Katherine and Andrew Ellington of Valley Center and Zachary Budda of Augusta.
Resthaven Mortuary of Wichita has charge of the arrangements.

Harold Freeman

Harold Freeman, 74, Leon, brother of Ed Freeman of Augusta, died Thursday, June 10, 2004.
Graveside service at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 19, at Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta. Those attending should use the 12th St. entrance. Friends are invited to Ed’s home to greet family or at the cemetery. There will be no visitation at the funeral chapel.
Mr. Freeman was born in rural Butler County on July 19, 1929, the son of the late Ivan and Eva Leona (Shafer) Freeman. He graduated magna cum laude from Wichita State University with a degree in business administration. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a member of El Dorado American Legion, VFW and a member of American Mensa. Mr. Freeman retired from Texaco in El Dorado after 38 years.
In addition to his brother, he leaves three nieces and three nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Earl and Warren.
Arrangements are under the direction of Headley Funeral Chapel of Augusta.

Debbie Sue Niles

Debbie Sue Niles, 43, Wichita, homemaker, sister of Michael Cave of Augusta, died Sunday, June 20, 2004.
Her funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday., June 25, at Old Mission Mortuary in Wichita. Burial will follow at Old Mission Cemetery.
Other survivors include: father, Lynnly Grunwald of Wichita; mother, Betty Cave of Lyons; son, Joey Niles of Wichita; companion, Bob Niles of Wichita; brothers, Dale Grunwald of Topeka, Danny Grunwald of Wichita; sisters, Diana Bartlett of Lyons, Sharon Cave of Topeka.
Arrangements are under the direction of Old Mission Mortuary of Wichita.

Marie Williams

Marie Williams, 76, Wichita, mother of Rick Williams of Augusta, died Monday, June 21, 2004.
Her funeral service at 1 p.m. on Friday, June 25, at Lakeview Funeral Home in Wichita.
Other survivors are: children, Linda Rollings and Teresa DeHoff, both of Bremerton, Wash., Gary Williams of Georgia, Keith Williams, Kenneth Williams and Chris Rollings, all of Andover; step children, Jerry, Mike and Billy Williams, all of Hewitt, Texas, Bob Williams of Pueblo, Colo., Donna Mullins of Augusta; sister, Betty Furrow of Newton; many grandchildren, great and great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Lakeview Funeral Home of Wichita has charge of the arrangements.
