Evelyn V. House

Evelyn V. House, 97, Douglass, died Friday, June 11,2004.
Memorial graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 19, at the Douglass Cemetery.
Survivors include: son, Harold of Leawood; two grandchildren; one great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Harold M. House; her mother, Mable Ida (Skinner) House; brother, Walter Skinner; sisters, Catherine Higdon and Alberta Hamm.
Memorial established with Douglass United Methodist Church.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hilyard-Smith Funeral Home of Douglass.

Clarious Copeland

Clarious Copeland, 81, Augusta, died today, June 18, 2004.
Funeral arrangements were pending this morning at the Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta.

Virgil L. Martin

Virgil L. Martin, 80, El Dorado, retired mechanic, ^ United States Army World O War 11 veteran and father of Q Terry Martin of Augusta, ^ died Sunday, June 13, 2004. sST Funeral service will be "***’ held at 2 p.m. Thursday at ^ Kirby-Morris Funeral Home ^ in El Dorado. Internment ^ will follow at the Walnut Valley Memorial Park Cemetery in El Dorado.
Other survivors include: wife, Maxine of the home; sons, Alen Martin of Benton, Clyde Martin of El Dorado;
daughters, Diana Martin, Kathy Garner, both of El Dorado, Barbara Schoffstall of Anchorage, Alaska; brothers, Vernon Martin of Sedan, Cliff Martin of Pampas, Texas, Pete Martin of El Dorado; sisters, Grace Wiltshire, Hazel McCoyne, Annette Moore, all of El Dorado; 13 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with the Hospice Care of Kansas. Contributions may be left with Kirby-Morris Funeral Home, who has charge of the arrangements.

Robert S. Mash

Robert Samuel Mash, 82, Wichita, retired restaurant owner and father of local business owner John Mash, died Thursday, June 17, 2004.
His funeral service was held today, June 21, at St. Anne Catholic Church in Wichita.
Other survivors include: wife, Jessie; two daughters, two sisters, a brother; four grandchildren; three greatgrandchildren.
Memorials established with American Cancer Society and American Lung Association. '
Downing and Lahey Mortuary of Wichita handled the arrangements. I j

Clarious Copeland

Clarious Copeland, 88, Augusta, homemaker, died Friday, June 18, 2004.
A chapel service was held this afternoon, June 21. Burial in Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta.
Survivors are: children, Michael Copeland and wife Frances, and Delinda and husband John Willis, both of Augusta, and Freda Fisher of Belmont; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; half brother, Doyle; half sisters, Bessie Lutta, Ann, Glenda.
Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta handled the arrangements.


Dorothy Hunn

Dorothy D. Hunn, 92, El Dorado, retired school teacher and resident of LakePoint Nursing Home of Augusta, died Friday, June 18, 2004.
Her funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, at Kirby-Morris Funeral Home in El Dorado. Interment will follow in the Sutton Cemetery.
Surviving family includes: son, Robert Hunn of El Dorado; daughter, Margie Hand of Round Rock, Texas; sister, Hazel I. “Tommy” Orton of Rosalia; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Luranah (McCormick) Buffum, and brothers, Lawrence and Robert Buffum.
Arrangements handled by Kirby-Morris Funeral Home of El Dorado.
