Clarence Hugh Miller

Clarence Hugh Miller, 79, Augusta, retired co-owner of Miller Parts Co. and a United States Navy veteran, died on Wednesday, July 21,2004.
His funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 23, at Hillside Funeral Home in Augusta.
Viewing hours will be from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, July 22, at Hillside Funeral Home.
He was an original member of the Charlie Dunn Baseball organzation, an active member of the Moose Lodge, VFW, American Legion, Masonic Lodge, and the Shrine.
Survivors include: wife, Jeannie Miller; daughter, Judy Cyphers and husband, Mike of Wichita; daughter, Sharon Miller and William Moag of Augusta; brother, Frank Miller, Sr. and wife, Hilda of Augusta; nephew, Frank Miller, Jr. and wife, Nancy of El Dorado; three grandchildren, Pamela Braden and husband, Darrell and their three children, Jon Cyphers and wife, Alissa, and Dominic Miller; mother-in-law, Valyne Elliott of Hutchinson; step sons, David Long and Phillip Long and wife, Trish of El Dorado; step
daughters, Pamela McDaniel and husband, Denny of Cassoday, Patricia Daniels of Union Town, Paula Hattan and husband, Alan of El Dorado; eight step grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bud and Ivon Miller and his first wife, Alice.
Memorials have been established with the Shriners Hospital for Children, c/o Plane of Mercy Fund in Wichita, and Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice of Wichita.
Hillside Funeral Home of Augusta has charge of the arrangements.

Beulah Bannon

Beulah Fern (DeWater) Bannon, 91, rural Augusta, died Wednesday, July 21, 2004.
Her funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, July 23, at the Douglass Church of Christ, with Keith Cross officiating.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 22, and from 9 a.m. to noon on Friday.
She was born on April 27, 1913 in rural Douglass, the daughter of Lewis and Jessie (Knote) DeWater.
She married Adrian Bannon on Dec. 23, 1937 in Douglass.
Together they were farmers, ranchers and owned and operated the Douglass AG Grocery. She was a member of the Douglass Church of Christ.
Survivors are: son, Ronnie and wife, Helen of Augusta; grandchildren,
Ronda Lemke and husband, David of Douglass, Daren Bannon and wife, Mary of Augusta, Donna Bates and husband, Jake of Rock; great-grandchildren, Samantha and John Lemke of Douglass, Logan, Gordon and Duncan Bannon of Augusta, Elexis and Chase Bates of Rock.
A memorial has been established with the Douglass Church of Christ.
Hilyard-Smith Funeral Home of Douglass has charge of the arrangements.

Charles Jon Woolsey

Charles Jon Woolsey, 59, Augusta, died Tuesday, July 20, 2004.
Private services will be held.
Survivors are: wife, Barbara; daughters, Sara Redinger, Sabrina Unruh, LaDonna Endeninger, Michelle Chrisleib; brothers, Wayne, Jay; sisters, Karen Battles, June Houchins, Elmary Hileman, Katherine Ternes, Ruth Cudd, and 22 grandchildren.
Arrangements are under the direction of All Faiths Funeral Services of Wichita.
