Lester Damon

Lester R. “Les” Damon, 77, Douglass, retired Beech Aircraft vice president and chief financial officer, died Saturday, Aug. 21, 2004.
His funeral service at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 26, at Douglass Church of Christ.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 25, at Hilyard-Smith Funeral Home in Douglass.
Survivors include: wife, Inez; sons, Larry of Jamestown, Colo., Ron of Derby, Jack of Douglass; daughter, Christine Rutter of Sun Lakes, Ariz.; sisters, Doris Mcntyre of Council Bluff, Iowa, Nadine Hairgrove of San Clemente, Calif., Karen O’Dell of Hutchinson; brother, David Atkinson of Salina; six grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Chester and Ethel (McEwen) Damon; brother, John B. Atkinson; sisters, Wanda Sanders and Jackie Delaney.
Memorial established with the Douglass Senior Center.

Rosella McClure

Rosella M. McClure, 76, Wichita, retired Wesley Medical Center accredited records clerk, formerly of Augusta, died Wednesday, Aug. 18, 2004.
Funeral service was held last week and internment was at Blakely Cemetery in Madison.
Survivors are: husband, J.D. McClure; sons, J.C. McClure of Andover, D.J. McClure of Lamed; brothers, Richard Kellison of Marion, Jack Kellison of Wichita; sister, Betty Loy of Wichita; two grandsons.
She was preceded in death by: parents, Marshall Kellison and Mary Spitznogle Kellison McGhee; stepfather, Jim McGhee; brothers, Millard and Jimmy Kellison; sister, Mildred Rhodes and two nieces.
Memorials to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice and Martinson Avenue Christian Church.
Hillside Funeral Home West of Wichita handled the arrangements.

Dinah L. Ross

Dinah L. Ross, 44, Wichita, daughter and step daughter of Barbara and Kermit Landers of Augusta, died Monday, Aug. 23, 2004.
Funeral service at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 26, at Resthaven Mortuary in Wichita.
Other survivors include: boyfriend, Tony Peterson; father and step mother, Bob and Shirley Ross; brothers, Randy Ross, Ray Snell, John Snell, all of Wichita, Lee Snell of Tulsa; sisters, Linda Ross, Joyce Watkins, both of Wichita, Mary Grogert of Lubbock, Texas, Norma Miller of Arkansas City, Michelle Campbell of Osage; grandmothers, Norma Landers and Ima Snell, both of Wichita.
Resthaven Mortuary of Wichita is handling the arrangements.
