Elizabeth Dennett

Elizabeth Dennett, 88, Augusta, antique dealer and homemaker, died Thursday, Aug. 26, 2004.
Her graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 28, at Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta.
Visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. this evening, with family from 7 to 8 p.m., at Dunsford Funeral Home in Augusta.
Survivors are: sons and wives, David and Nancy Dennett of Augusta, Doug and Jo Dennett of McLouth; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Austin Dennett and daughter, Carolyn Snider.
Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta has charge of the arrangements.

Loyd Hubbart

Loyd “Hub” Hubbart, 87, Augusta, retired gauger for Mobil, passed away Thursday, Aug. 26, 2004.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 30, at Headley Funeral Chapel in Augusta.
Visitation from 1 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, with family to greet friends from 6 to 7 p.m. that evening at the funeral chapel.
Mr. Hubbart was born in Hiawatha on Nov. 14, 1916, the son of the late Arthur Charles and Nellie (Linton) Hubbart.
Survivors include: sons, Butch Hubbart of Augusta, Jerry Hubbart of LaBelle, Fla., Linnie Hubbart of Iowa Park, Texas; daughters, Connie Zwahl of Augusta, Marilyn Williams of Andover; 14 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by: his wife, Billie; daughter, Loydene; grandchildren, Logan Hubbart and Todd Zwahl; three brothers and one sister.
The family requests memorial donations to Meals on Wheels.’
Headley Funeral Chapel of Augusta has charge of the arrangements.

Roy Wayne Brooker

Roy Wayne Brooker, Douglass, Boeing machinist, died Friday, Aug. 20, 2004.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. tomorrow morning at Watson Garden Chapel in Wichita.
Visitation with family present from 7 to 8 p.m. this evening at Garden Chapel of Watson Funeral Home.
Survivors include: wife, Beverly; children, Sheri Johnson of Wichita; Larry Brooker of Mulvane, Jerry Brooker of Wichita, Roger and Janet Mears of Oklahoma City, Charles and Scott Mears, Janice Achey, Brian Mears, Fred and Kim Mears, all of Wichita; mother, Juanita Brooker of Andover; brothers and sisters, Robert Brooker, Donnie Brooker, Marshall Brooker, Gail Jacob, and Jessica Lutes; 21 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
Watson’s Garden Chapel of Wichita is handling the arrangements.

Alden ‘Al’ Matlock

Alden A. “Al” Matlock, 67, Augusta, died Sunday, Aug. 22,2004.
Service arrangements were pending this morning with Headley Funeral Chapel of Augusta.
