Benjamin Clark Anderson

Benjamin Clark Anderson, 92, Wichita, retired farmer and quality control manager and formerly of Augusta, died Monday, Aug. 23, 2004.
His funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 30, at the United Methodist Church in Howard.
Interment will be held at Greenlawn Cemetery in Grenola.
Survivors include: wife, Lillian LaVelle; daughter, Sonya M. Sayler of Wichita; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Zimmerman Funeral Home of Howard.

Phillip J. Cook

Phillip James Cook, 65, Augusta, retired Raytheon Aircraft inspector, died Thursday, Aug. 26, 2004.
Graveside service was held today at Kechi Township Cemetery.
Survivors include: wife, Brenda of the home; daughters, Teresa N. Sweat of Wichita, Tamera Ball of Andover, Tina Cook of Wichita; sisters, Esther Lane of Augusta, Elizabeth Wherrel of Newton; brother, David S. Cook of Corsicana, Texas; 14 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by parents, Alfred and Myrtle Cook.
A memorial has been established with the American Heart Association.
Arrangements were under the direction of Cochran Mortuary & Crematory of Wichita.

Raymond T. Wesbrooks

Raymond T. Wesbrooks, 84, Augusta, died Saturday, Aug. 28, 2004. He retired as an auto parts manager for Jarvis Auto Supply.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow at Headley Funeral Chapel in Augusta.
Visitation from 1 to 8 p.m. today, with family greeting friends from 5 to 6:30 p.m., at Headley Funeral Chapel.
Mr. Wesbrooks was born in Kedron, Ark. on Oct. 11, 1919, the son of the late Hollis Elmore and Rhoda Ann Virginia (Sumner) Wesbrooks. On Oct. 28, 1945 he married JoAnn (Leach) in Udall.
Survivors are: wife, JoAnn; son, Jim and wife, Chris Wesbrooks of Augusta; daughters, Judy and husband, Chuck Dullea of Andover, Rita and husband, David Hitzeman of Jenks, Okla.; brothers, Wally Wesbrooks of Pampa, Texas, Bill Wesbrooks of Deming, N.M., Bob Wesbrooks of Grove, Okla.; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Earl and a sister, Sybil Kester.
The family suggests donations to LakePoint Nursing Center of Augusta
Arrangements are under the direction of Headley Funeral Chapel of Augusta.
