Elaine M. Chastain

Elaine M. Chastain, 71, Aurora, Mo., retired school bus driver and security guard, died on Thursday, Sept. 9, 2004.
Graveside service will be held at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 14, at Fairview Cemetery.
Survivors are: husband, Bill Chastain of Aurora; sons and daughters-in-law, Keith and Pamela Remmers, Michael and Angela Remmers, Terry and Miriam Chastain, and Ron Chastain; daughters, Sharon Chastain and Patty Alcorn; sister, Doris Bork; 20 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren.

Mary L. Demieville

Mary L. Demieville, 69, Winfield, homemaker, died Saturday, Sept. 11, 2004.
Graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 14, at Akron Cemetery, north of Winfield.
Visitation today from 12 to 8 p.m. at Headley Funeral Chapel in Augusta.

Gerald ‘Gary’ Dean Parker

Gerald “Gary” Dean Parker, 53, Rose Hill, Fuel Tech delivery driver, died Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2004.
Viewing from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 17, at Headley Funeral Chapel in Augusta. Gathering with friends at 5:30 p.m.Friday Kathy Cook’s home at 1208 School in Augusta.
Survivors include: sons, Steven Parker and Justin Mitchell, both of Augusta; daughters, Shelby Parker of Kansas City and Willow Parker of Wichita; sisters, Kathy Cook of Augusta, Frieda Hodgens of Benton, Gail Ross of Lumberton, Texas, Lori Parker of Augusta; four grandchildren.
Memorial contributions to Gary Parker Memorial Fund.
Arrangements are under the direction of Headley Funeral Chapel of Augusta.

June Burden

June Burden, 81, Augusta, retired welder at Boeing Aircraft and retired hairdresser, died Sunday, Sept. 12, 2004.
A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 15, at Leon Cemetery in Leon.
Visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 14, at • Dunsford Funeral Home Chapel in Augusta.
She was born June 28, 1923 in Lawrence to Edward and Catherine (Buell) Dodson.
Survivors are: son, Stephen and wife, Janice Burden of Haysville; daughters, Beckye and husband, Delbert Rimer of Richland Hills, Texas; Barbara Dawson and Cathye Rood, both of El Dorado; sisters, Goldie Harmon and Virginia Copp, both of Lawrence; 11 grandchildren; 24 greatgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Floyd Burden; two sisters; two brothers; and two grandsons.
Memorial established with Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, Wichita or House of Mercy Ministries, P.O. Box 9, El Dorado, 67042.
Arrangements are under the direction of Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta.
