Jack K. Wilson

Jack K. Wilson, 75, Anaheim, Calif., formerly of Augusta, died Sept. 15,2004.
A memorial service will be held on Oct. 16 at the Garden Grove Elks Lodge in Garden Grove, Calif.
Mr. Wilson was raised here and graduated with the Augusta Class of 1947.
He was married to Sydney Letson on June 22, 1949 in Kansas City, Kans. She preceded him in death on July 15, 2004.
Survivors are daughter, Leslie Hatcher of Aloha, Ore.; sons, Michael of Bridal Veil, Ore., Mitchell of Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif., and Morgan of Costa Mesa, Calif.; sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Dolan Brandt, brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Mary Wilson, all of Augusta; 12 grandchildren.
Memorials may be sent to the John Hutter Scholarship Endowment Fund, c/o Armand Hillier, 31 Ranchwood, Augusta, 67010.

Charlie Thomas Zordel

Charlie Thomas Zordel, 80, Miami, Okla., rancher and farmer, brother of Rosaline Nesler of Augusta, died Sept. 19, 2004.
He was a United States Navy World War II veteran.
The military funeral service was held on Wednesday,
Sept. 22, at the First Christian Church in Miami.
Survivors include: his wife, Betty; four daughters, Karla Frick of Sperry, Okla., Adonna Helmig of Commerce, Okla., Jerilyn Craig of Miami Okla., and Delauna Fletcher of Edmond, Okla.; 10 grandchildren; brothers, Herbert Zordel of Wichita, Vernon Zordel of Williamstown, Ky.: Marrel Guy Zordel of Seattle: Wash.; sisters, Juanita VanWinkle of Wichita, and Irena Swartz of Weskan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Elizabeth (Petty) Zordel four brothers and two sisters.


Ramonda E. Love

Homemaker Ramonda E. Love, 75, Howard, formerly of Augusta, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2004.
Graveside service at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 1, at Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta. Those attending the service should use the 12th Street entrance to the cemetery.
Visitation from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 30, at Headley Funeral Chapel in Augusta.
She is survived by: sons, James of Longton, Steve of El Dorado, and Tony of Howard; daughters, Linda Dieter of Augusta and Jodi Love of Manford, Okla.; brothers, O.C. Moore of Independence and Roland Browning, Jr. of Sacramento, Calif.; sister, Rosie Eytcheson of Independence; 15 grandchildren; one step grandchild; 12 great-grandchildren; three step greatgrandchildren; one step great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by: companion,
Clifford Cox; two children, Russell Love and Peggy Cox; brothers, Ernest and Wilburn Moore and sister Louise Arnold.
Memorials to Associated Homecare, First Nazarene Church of Augusta, or Augusta Public Library.
Arrangements are under the direction of Headley Funeral Chapel of Augusta.


Walter Cody

Walter Cody, 79, Augusta, retired Boeing worker and Veteran’s Hospital employee, died Thursday, Sept. 30, 2004.
Graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 2, at Kuster Cemetery.
He is survived by his sister, Hazel Mauk of Augusta.
Dunsford Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.

Ruth Edna Cook

Ruth Edna Cook, 67, Augusta, died Sunday, Sept. 26, 2004.
There will be no local services.
