Gerald E. ‘Jerry’ Burress
Gerald E. “Jerry” Burress, 79, Augusta, retired owner and operator of J & B Implement and farmer, died Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2004.
Graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 31, at Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta.
Visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 30, at Dunsford Chapel in Augusta.
Survivors include: son, James E. “Jeb” and wife, Lee Anne Burress of Augusta, and John H. Burress of S.D.; brother, Melvin Burress of Augusta; sister, Hazel Eldringhoff of Augusta; grandchildren, Devin and Justin Burress.
He was preceded in death by wife, Doris “Dode.”
Memorial to Plane of Mercy c/o Median Shrine Temple, 130 N. Topeka, Wichita, 67202.
Arrangements are under the direction of Dunsford Funeral Horn? of Augusta.
Rachel Baccadutre
Rachel R. (Smith) Baccadutre, 78, Albuquerque, N.M., formerly of Augusta, died Dec. 24, 2004.
A memorial service was held today in Taylorville, ILL.
Her survivors are: sons, Randy and David and his wife, Denise, all of Albuquerque, N.M.; sisters, Helen McGowen and Theresa Robison of Taylorville, ILL., and Marilyn Land of Harvel, ILL.
She was' preceded in death by her husband, Charles (Chuck) Baccadutre.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting contributions be sent to Presbyterian Hospice, 8300 Constitution NE, Albuquerque, NM, 87120.
Arrangements were under the direction of Shafer Funeral Home of Taylorville, ILL.

Carole D. Payton, 90, Douglass, died Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2004.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 3, at Miles Funeral Home in Winfield.
Her survivors are: husband, Melvin; son, Gary Stuchal; daughters, Karolyn Smith, Marcene White; step daughters, Maureen Ingram, Sonja Draper, Alice Foust, and Janice Payton; seven grandchildren; nine step grandchildren.
Fredrick A. "Fritz" Buell
Fredrick A. “Fritz” Buell, 74, Augusta, retired computer analyst for Koch Industries, died Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2004.
Service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 31, at Dunsford Funeral Chapel in Augusta.
His survivors are: wife, Louetta Buell; son, Thomas Arthur Buell of Wichita; daughters, Jeri Susan Knudson, Teri Luanne Janzen, both of Augusta, Penny L. Gfeller of Overland Park; sister, Shirley Jackson of Andover; grandchildren, Travis and Dusty Buell, Casey and Chelsie Knudson, Tanner Janzen, Erin and Dylan Gfeller.
He was preceded in death by grandson, Tyler Janzen.
Memorial donations may be made to Tyler Janzen Memorial Scholarship or Salvation Army.
Arrangements are under the direction of Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta.
