Angela K. Swartz, 48, Douglass, homemaker, died on Wednesday, May 25, 2005.
Her funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 31, at Dunsford Funeral HomeChapel in Augusta.
Visitation until 8 p.m. this evening at the funeral home.
Survivors include: husband, Bobby; parents, Mary and Glen Shook of Wichita; sisters, Jeanie Meyer of Park City and Sherril Boyd of Derby; grandmother, Naoma McCarty; children, Lara Dodson (Dustin) of Douglass, Alex Kuhn of Wichita, Katlyn Swartz and Bobby Swartz, Jr., both of
Douglass; step children, Mark Kuhn and Jason Kuhn of Wichita; brothers, Jim Tarry, Steven Shook, and Glen David Shook, all of Wichita; grandchildren, Ashten, Blaize, and Dodson.
Memorials in loving memory of Angela, may be made to the Corner Bank, 305 S. Forest, Douglass, 67039.
Earl M. ‘Pete’ Peters
Earl M. “Pete” Peters, 81, Augusta, retired program scheduler at Beech Aircraft, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, June 1, 2005.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday,
June 4, at the First Christian Church in Augusta.
Viewing from 1 to 8 p.m., with family to greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday,
June 3, at Headley Funeral Chapel in Augusta.
Earl was bom in Orlando, Okla, on Aug. 26, 1923, the son of the late Roy Mason and Opal Mae (Craig) Peters.
He served in the 436th Transport Troop Carrier Unit, United States Army Air Force during World War II. He was a member of the Mulvane Masonic Lodge, First Christian Church, and Wheeler Dealers Square Dance Club of Andover. He truly enjoyed being outside in the yard taking care of his
lawn and garden. On Dec. 26, 1979 he married Connie in Newkirk, Okla. He and Connie loved traveling to places like Mo., Calif., and Texas. He enjoyed square dancing whenever he could.
He is survived by: his wife, Connie; son, Keith Peters and his wife, Linda of Wichita; daughter, Diane Kiser of Wellington; grandchildren, Stacey Fair and husband, Brent, Cale Peters, Shawn Kiser and wife, Jennifer, Carleigh Irving and husband, Jeffrey, Jessica Kielty and husband, Michael, Jennifer Atherton and husband, Joe, Hesper Smith and husband, Sean, Patience Biggs; 15 greatgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Omer and a step son.
Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church in Augusta.
Arrangements are under the direction of Headley Funeral Chapel of Augusta.

Virginia M. Wright, 82, Wichita, retired Boeing fabrication mechanic, died Sunday, May 29, 2005.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, June 3, at Resthaven Mortuary in Wichita. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta.
Survivors are: son, Dyane McZegle of Clearwater; daughter, Kay Bayer of Wichita; brother, Richard of Ohio; sisters, Joy of Okla, and Carol of Texas; numerous grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Arrangements under the direction of Resthaven Mortuary of Wichita.
