Gilbert I. Demieville, Sr.

Gilbert I. Demieville, Sr., 85, Augusta, farmer and sheet metal mechanic, passed away on Friday, June 3, 2005.
Graveside service at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Akron Cemetery, north of Winfield.
Viewing until 8 p.m. this evening at Headley Funeral Chapel in Augusta,
He is' survived by: sons, Gilbert Demieville, Jr., > Ronald Demieville and Terry Demieville; daughters, Patricia Foster and Sylvia Shirley; brothers, Howard and Charles; sister, Lily Angle; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
Memorials to Faith Home Health and Hospice.
Arrangements are under the direction of Headley Funeral Chapel of Augusta.

Lena Ruth Hopper

Lena Ruth (Wheeler) Hopper, 85, Augusta, retired teacher, died Friday, June 3, 2005.
Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 9, at the First United Methodist Church in Augusta, with graveside service at 2:30 p.m. in Conway Springs.
She is survived by: daughter, Cindy Hevel of Waverly; sisters, Maxine Waegel of Wilmington, Del. and Barbara Meyers of Wichita; seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death, by: her husband, Melville Leo Hopper; her son, Stephen; one brother and three sisters.
A memorial has been established with the Augusta United Methodist Church.
Ebersole Mortuary of Conway Springs is handling the arrangements.

Forrest E. Harding

Forrest E. Harding, 74, Arkansas City, passed away after a long illness.
Services will be at 1p.m. on Wednesday, June 8, at Lakeview Funeral Home in Wichita.
Viewing will be from 1 to 8 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home.
He is survived by: his wife, Joan of Arkansas City, one daughter and two grandchildren of Olathe; brother, Clint Harding and sister,
Kathy Howerton, both of Augusta; three step sons. Arrangements are under
the direction of Lakeview Funeral Home of Wichita.

Mary Jo Greenfield

Mary Jo Greenfield, 70, Douglass, retired Cessna electronic technician, died Thursday, June 2, 2005.
Funeral service was held this morning at First Baptist Church in Douglass.
Survivors are: husband, James “J.R” Greenfield; sons, Pastor Larry J. Greenfield of Stockton, Mo., Martin L. Greenfield of Andover, and Ricky A. Greenfield of Augusta; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
Memorials to First Baptist Church of Douglass.

Matthew Miller

Matthew Lee Miller, 15, Wichita, died on Tuesday, June 7, 2005.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 9, at the First United Methodist Church in Augusta.
Survivors include: parents, Edward and Sharon Miller; brothers, Aaron, Joshua and Chad Miller; sisters, Krystal Miller and Leslie Steventon; one niece and one nephew.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hillside Funeral Home East of Wichita.
