Melvina G. Lyons

Melvina G. Lyons, 81, employed at Parks Motors of Augusta, died on Sunday, June 5, 2005.
Memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. tomorrow at Chapel Hill Fellowship.
Her survivors include: daughter and son-in-law, Saretta and John Culver of Wichita; daughters, Sheila Robbins of Derby and Jenny Chiddix of Spring Hill; sister, Eileen Callen of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; seven grandchildren; two greatgrandchildren.
Preceded in death by husband, Edward P. and grandson, John Edward Culver.
A memorial has been established with Chapel Hill Fellowship Library Fund, 11660 E. 13th St., Wichita, 67206.
Downing Lahey Mortuary East of Wichita has charge of the arrangements.

Irma H. McFall

Irma H. McFall, 78, Wichita, retired VA Hospital housekeeper, mother and mother-in-law of Rick and Jo McFall of Douglass, died on Sunday, June 5, 2005.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 8, at Downing and Lahey Mortuary East in Wichita.
Other survivors include; sons, Dan of Wichita, Tim of Overland Park and Ted of Derby; daughters, Jan Galloway and Sally Goodwin, both of Wichita; brother, Phil Johnston of Eureka; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
Memorials have been established with Cherry Creek Nursing Home, Alzheimer Unit, and Alzheimer’s Association.
Downing and Lahey Mortuary East of Wichita is handling the arrangements.

Audra F. Mahar

Audra Faye Mahar, 77, Waverly, aunt of Lynda McDermott of Augusta, died ' Friday, June 3, 2005.
Her funeral service was held Monday, June 6, at the Jones Funeral Home in Burlington with burial in the Waverly Cemetery.
She was diagnosed with a terminal illness in 2001.
Mrs. Mahar leaves her husband, Arthur, three daughters, Jackie Clarkson, Patty Anderson, and Peggy Burkdoll, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Barry Phillips

Barry Phillips, 53, Wichita, musician, formerly Of Augusta, died on Wednesday, June 8, 2005.
A celebration of Barry’s life will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 12, at The Port of Wichita, 1548 S. Webb Rd.
His survivors include: companion, Jai; son, Jorma; father, George; brother, Shane; Asters, Shelia, Cree, Tracey, and Molly; one granddaughter; many family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret.

Hazel Hutchison

Hazel Hutchison, 79, Augusta, retired health care dietary manager, died on Thursday, June 2, 2005.
Graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 9, at Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta.
Visitation until 8 p.m. with family from 4 to 6 p.m. this evening at Dunsford Funeral Home in Augusta.
She was born on June 4, 1925 in Ava, Mo.
Her survivors include: loving husband, Delmas; children, Richard Lee Hutchison (Pam) of Leon, Randy Hutchison (Karen) of Benton, Dennis Ray Hutchison, Theresa Haigler (Gary), Kay Hutchison, Darrell Joe Hutchison, all of El Dorado, Linda Gay Webb of Texas, and Glenda Cody (Russ) of Augusta; 16 grandchildren; one brother and two sisters.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Albert Prine.
Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta has charge of the arrangements.
