Eldon Gimple
Eldon Gimple, 83, Douglass, retired brick and stone mason and U.S. Army veteran, died on Sunday, June 12, 2005.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, June 16, at the Douglass United Methodist Church.
Visitation until 8 p.m. this evening and from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday at Hilyard-Smith
Funeral Home in Douglass.
His survivors include: wife, Ellouise; daughters, Toni Travis of Douglass and Kay Head of Winfield; sister, Lou Ann Hall of Texas; mother-in-law, Twila Hanes-Thomas of Mulvane; eight grandchildren.
Memorial established with the Douglass High School Sports Facility Improvements.
Arrangements under the direction of Hilyard-Smith Funeral Home of Douglass.
L.B."Slim’ Aitchison
L.B. “Slim” Aitchison, 85, Augusta, retired Cessna sheet metal mechanic and U.S. Air Force World War II veteran, died on Saturday, June 11, 2005.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 15, at Headley Funeral Chapel in Augusta.
Family will be present to receive friends during visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 14, at Headley Funeral Chapel in Augusta.
He is survived by: wife, Dorotha Aitchison; son, Charles Aitchison of Augusta; brothers, Roy Aitchison of Augusta and David Aitchison of Ozark, Ark.; sisters, Joyce Kenny and Ola Mae Bowman, both of Ozark, Ark.; three grand-
children; five great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Odyssey Healthcare, 125 N. Market, Wichita, 67202.
Headley Funeral Chapel of Augusta has charge of the arrangements.
Jessie lone Patrick
Jessie lone Patrick, 87, Chesapeake, Va., formerly of Augusta, passed away on June 18, 2005.
A private service has been held.
Her survivors include: daughter, Ruth Ann Bonneville of Chesapeake; three grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one
great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Elsie Hiler, and her husband, Pleze E. “Jack” Patrick.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association.
Arrangements were under the care and direction of the Great Bridge Chapel of Oman Funeral Home & Crematory, Chesapeake, Va.

Jeanne M. Warwick, 48, North Newton, sister of Laura Kendall of Augusta, died on Saturday, June 25, 2005.
Private family service has been held.
Other survivors are: son, Jeremiah of Wichita; daughter, Christina Patterson, Wichita; mother, Elvera Warwick, Wichita; other sisters, Susan Warwick of Newton and Mona Huffman of Cripplecreek, Colo.; three grandchildren.
Peterson Funeral Home of Newton handled the arrangements.
