Edna Mae Nesler 87, Augusta, homemaker, passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2005.
Graveside service Wednesday, June 22 at 10 a.m. Cumberland Cemetery near Douglass.
Visitation from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., tomorrow, at Hillside Funeral Home in Augusta.
Her survivors include: sons, Charles (Beverly), Dennis, of Augusta, Gerald (Mai) of Wichita;
daughters, Kathleen Northcutt of Wichita, Joyce Fessler (Gino) of Rose Hill, Darlene Ingram (Larry) of Augusta, and Shirley Menne (Erik) of Wichita; numerous grand, great, and great-great-grandchildren.

Richard E. ‘Dick’ Alexander
Richard E. “Dick” Alexander, 76, Grove, Okla., formerly of Augusta, passed away on Friday, June 17, 2005.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 21, at First United Methodist Church in Blackwell, Okla. Burial will be at Blackwell Cemetery.
Family will be present to receive friends during visitation from 6 to 8 this evening at Headley Funeral Chapel in Augusta.
Mr. Alexander was born in Blackwell, Okla., on July 7, 1929, the son of the late Arlie R. and Verna (Frazier) Alexander.
Dick retired as a department manager at Coleman, trained quarter horses and was a private pilot.
He served in the United States Army, as well.
On Dec. 26,1952 he married Moetta Hockett in Tonkawa, Okla. She survives.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by: sons, Darren Alexander and his wife, Lana of Augusta and Ricky Alexander and his wife, Carol of Knoxville, Tenn.; grandchildren, Kacia, Brandon, Evan and Lauren; many nieces and nephews.
Memorials to Faith Home Health & Hospice, 7804 E. Funston, Wichita.
Funeral services handled by Roberts and Sons Funeral Home in Blackwell.
Ruby Gladys Ferguson
Ruby Gladys Ferguson, 90, Fredonia, homemaker, mother of Bonnie Paske of Augusta, died on Friday, June 17, 2005.
Her funeral service was held this afternoon, June 20, at the First Christian Church in Fredonia.
Other survivors include: sons, Donald E. Swartz of Buckner, Mo., Bob L. Swartz of Stanberry, Mo., Richard W. Ferguson of Overland Park; daughters, Mae Oxford of Haysville, Connie Vance of Chanute and Cindy Ostrosky of Fredonia; sister, Nellie Stewart of Grove, Okla.; 36 grandchildren; 66 greatgrandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Glen “Pete” Ferguson; sons, James, Charles, Buddy, and Roy; daughter, Virginia Lou; grandchildren, Billy Don Swartz, Melissa Vance, and Matt Samuels.
Memorials have been established with the First Christian Church or Gran Villas Activity Fund.
Timmons Funeral Home of Fredonia has charge of the arrangements.
