Carol Yvonne Jordan

Carol Yvonne Jordan, 52, Augusta, died on Friday, Sept. 9, 2005.
Her memorial service was held today at Headley Funeral Chapel in Augusta.
Carol was born on July 30, 1953 in El Dorado, the daughter of William Elliott and Charlotte May (Lewis) Ross.
She worked as a house cleaner and bartender.

She is survived by four children; Jimmy Ray, Kendra, Sylvia,' and Sandra; sisters, Joyce Thomas of Towanda, Shirley Harding of Augusta, and Kathy Sims of Andover; brother, Kenny Ross of Augusta; special niece and friend, Crystal (Albert) Hagebusch.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Charles P. Jordan II;
brother, Charlie Bill Ross; and brother-in-law, Floyd Sims Jr.
Memorial donations may go to Total Homecare & Hospice.
Arrangements are under the direction of Headley Funeral Chapel in Augusta.

Rosetta Yelton

Rosetta “Christine” Yelton, 85, Siloam Springs, Ark., formerly of El Dorado, retired dental assistant, died on Saturday, Sept. 10, 2005.
Her funeral service will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 15, at the First Baptist Church in Siloam Springs, Ark. Graveside service will be held at 4 p.m. that afternoon at Sunset Lawns Cemetery in El Dorado.
Survivors include: daughter, R. LaVaun and husband, Dr. Duane A. Thomas of Siloam Springs, Ark.; two sons, Clifton H. Healy of Wichita, and Lt. Col. U.S. Air Force Reserve (Ret.) Roger F. Healy and wife, Marla of Parker, Colo.; 10 grandchildren; 12 greatgrandchildren; sister, Bessie Lorene Moore of Loveland, Colo.; brother, James William “Bill” Christy of Bullhead City, Ariz.
Memorial contributions may be given to First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 356, Siloam Springs, Ar., 72761, or Central Baptist Church, 7421 SW Church Road, Augusta, 67010.
Arrangements are under the direction of Wasson Funeral Home of Siloam Springs, Ark.She was preceded in death by her husbands, Clifton F. Healy and Wilbur E. Yelton; her parents and eight siblings.

Ruby Faye Abner

Ruby Faye (Moore) Abner, 77, Valley Center, homemaker, mother and mother-in-law of Joyce and Louis Wagoner of Douglass, passed away on Sunday, Her funeral service was held this morning, Sept. 14, at Baker Funeral Home Chapel in Valley Center.
Other survivors include: daughters, Linda People of Wichita, Shirley High of Clearwater, Sharon Abner of Lawrence, Nancy Bennett of Wichita, and Dalene Abner of Warrensburg, Mo.; son,
Robert Abner of Valley Center; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Ila Darnell of Gates City, Va. and Ona Elliot of Churchill, Tenn.
She was preceded in death by: husband, Henry Abner; parents, Charles and Ella Moore.
Memorial donations may go to Boys Town USA and Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.
Arrangements were handled by Baker Funeral Home of Valley Center.

James "Jim" Harvey Webster

James “Jim” Harvey Webster, 75, Leon, United States veteran of the Korean War, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 18, 2005.
Visitation from 4 to 8 Thursday, Sept. 22, funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 23, both at Dunsford Funeral Chapel in Augusta.
His survivors are: wife, Ann Webster of Leon; sons, James Jr. and wife, Jennifer of Augusta, William and
wife, Debbie of Leon; daughters, Barbara and husband, David
Montgomery of Leon, Janett and Cecil Jacobs of Augusta, Phyllis Webster and husband, Kerry Unrein of Wichita; brothers, William and wife, Jean Webster of Whiting, John and wife, Phyllis Webster of Holton, Tom Webster and wife, Gail of Whiting; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
Memorials may go to the Butler County Oil Museum.
Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta has charge of the arrangements.
