Julia T. Alfaro
Julia T. Alfaro, 76, El Dorado, formerly of Augusta, died on Monday, Nov. 7, 2005.
Celebration of the funeral mass will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, at St. John’s Catholic Church in El Dorado. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta. Recitation of the Rosary will be held at 7 p.m. this evening at St. John’s Catholic Church.
Her survivors include: sons, Lawrence, John, and Anthony Alfaro, all of El Dorado; daughters, Mary Ann Zogleman of Murfreesboro. Tenn.,
Marcella Martin, Diana Alfaro, Christsandra Voyles, Marilyn Dobson, and Julie Alfaro, all of El Dorado; brothers, Joe Requena and Theodore Requena, both of El Dorado; sisters, Phyllis Martinez of Augusta, Marie Jones of El Dorado, and Stephen Villa of Marino Valley Calif.; 24 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: three sons, Frank Alfaro, Raul Alfaro, and Ralph Alfaro; one brother; one sister; one granddaughter; one great-grandson.
Kirby-Morris Funeral Home of El Dorado is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Lowenstein funeral 2 p.m Thursday
Former Augusta resident Barbara Ann Lowenstein, 59, Las Vegas, Nev., passed away Thursday, Oct. 27, 2005.
Her graveside service at
Elmwood Cemetery will be will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 3. She will be laid to rest adjacent to her parents, both of whom she loved dearly.
Hillside Funeral Home of Augusta is handling local arrangements in cooperation with the Palm Mortuary of Las Vegas.
John V. Mauk
John V. Mauk, 58, Wichita, Branson Property Management owner, son of Vernon and Katherine Mauk of Douglass, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 13, 2005.
Visitation, with family present, from 2 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, at Smith Mortuary in Derby. There will be a private family service.
Other survivors include:
wife, Linda; son, Adrian Mauk of Wichita; daughter, Amy Mauk of Overland Park; sister, Sally Sue Mauk of Missoula, Mont.; three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Jerri Mauk.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to
the Wichita Downtown Kiwanis Club or The American Heart Association.
Arrangements under the direction of Smith Mortuary in Derby.
Unlike other light, which scatters, laser light travels in only one direction.
Dorothy Elliott
Dorothy Elliott, 81, Wichita, died Monday, Nov. 14, 2005.
Her funeral arrangements were pending this morning at the Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta

Delores J. (Sink) Myers, 74, Wichita, retired appraiser assistant, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 12, 2005.
Visitation from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday; funeral service at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, both at Hillside Funeral Home East in Wichita, with interment following at Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta.
Her survivors include: daughter, Michelle Rogers of Wichita; sister, Shirley J. Taylor of Wichita; three
grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by husband, Lawrence M. Myers; son, Gregory L. Myers, and daughter; Marjorie J. Myers;
Memorials to Cystic Fibrosis, Hospice Home and Healthcare Connection.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hillside Funeral Home East of Wichita.
Travis Lee Roadenbaugh
Travis Lee Roadenbaugh,25, Winfield, formerly of Augusta, construction worker, died on Friday, Nov. 4, 2005.
Visitation until 5 p.m. this evening at Affinity Mortuary in Wichita; graveside service at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, at Richland Cemetery.
His survivors include: children, Kalem and Loren Marshall, Madison Streif; parents, Chuck
Roadenbaugh and Mary Walker; sisters, Kristin Walker and Lorinda Walker; grandmother, Mary Walker; aunt, Leanna Davidson; uncles, Jerry Walker and Gene Walker.
Arrangements are under the direction of Affinity Mortuary of Wichita.
