Bonnie V Haynes
Bonnie V. Haynes, 99, Douglass, died on Wednesday, June 21, 2006.
Visitation until 8 p.m. this evening and from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, at Hilyard Smith Funeral Home in Douglass.
Graveside service at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 24, at the Douglass Cemetery.
Her survivors include: sons, Donald Dee of Ward, Ark. and Jerry of Rock; daughter, Pat King of Baton Rouge, La.; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Charles A., and a son, Charles.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hilyard Smith Funeral Home in Douglass.

Martha Green, 74, Augusta, passed away this morning.
Service arrangements are pending with Headley Funeral Chapel in Augusta.
Rosilla Jane Hagen
Rosilla Jane Bartz Hagen, 82, West Hills, Calif., mother of Marsha Eileen Hagen Arehart
of Augusta, passed away on June 13, 2006.
Rosilla Hagen Rosilla was born on Dec. 15, 1924 to
Margaret Walker and Hollis Horatio Bartz in Stevens Point, Wis. Margaret later married Henry Carl Jacobsen, with whom she shared the rest of her life. Rosilla spent her early childhood in Hancock, Wis., and
grew up in Wisconsin Rapids and attended Lincoln High School. She studied fine arts, music, and dance at Milwaukee State Teachers College.
Rosilla was married to photographer and aviator, Donald Joseph Hagen for 61 years. Rosy and Don lived in Wisconsin, Indiana, Florida and Texas, moving later in live to southern California. She traveled internationally with her family and later with her brother, Frank Bartz, visiting much of Europe, Mexico, Russia, and Turkey.
Rosilla studied with artist Octavio Medellin in Dallas. She was an active member of the Dallas art community and a prolific painter and sculptor. She was the family historian, a classical pianist, an exquisite gourmet cook and an avid student of history, who relished the splendors of nature and the richness of our world’s culture. Partnering with friend Dorothy Galer, they opened Galer Hagen Gallery in the Oak Lawn area of Dallas. Her original art works have been displayed in Dallas, Austin, New York, New Orleans, San Francisco, and Los Angeles, winning several juried awards.
Rosy was a Girl Scout leader and helped integrate scout camping at a time when Texas law forbade racial diversity in the camps. She later worked as the Public Relations Director for the Texas Girl Scout Council in Dallas and received a Gold Award from The Girl Scouts of America.
She is remembered as bustling, tireless, gorgeous, stalwart, amusing, tolerant, encouraging and genuine. She was a fine and loving companion who provide a rich and nurturing home for her children and a warm, generous gathering place to friends and family.
She is also survived by: her husband, Donald Joseph Hagen; son, John Thomas Hagen-Brenner of West Hills, Calif.; brother, Edward Carl Jacobsen of Webster, Wis.; sister, Teckla Emma Jacobsen Barse of Wisconsin Rapids.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Frank Walker Bartz.
Mila Francis Evans
Mila Francis Evans, 91, homemaker, Towanda, died on Monday, June 26, 2006.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, June 29, at the First Baptist Church in Towanda.
Visitation with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. this evening, at Hillside Funeral Home in Augusta.
Survivors are: sons, Clifford of Udall, Raymond and Bill of Towanda, and Johnny of Ft. Worth, Texas; daughter, Barbara Burnett of Texarkana, Texas; 13 grandchildren; one step grandchild; 21 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
Memorials may go to Hospice Care of Kansas.
Arrangements by Hillside Funeral Home in Augusta.
