Dean Williamson
Dean Williamson, 52, of Augusta, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2006.
Viewing 1-8 p.m. Friday, with family to greet friends from 6-8 p.m., at Headley Funeral Chapel in
Augusta. Services at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept 9, at Haverhill Christian Church, Augusta. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta.
Dean was born in Emporia on Sept. 26, 1953. His parents were John and Phyllis (Simms) Williamson.
His step mother Lucille Williamson raised him.
Dean was a master plumber and owned Williamson Plumbing in Augusta. He was a member of the Breakfast Lions Club, volunteered for Ignite Augusta and served on the Augusta City Plumbing Board.
He served in the United States Navy as a Seabee. On March 12, 1977 he married Sandi Lewis in El Dorado.
His survivors include: wife, Sandi; sons, John Martin and his wife Ronda, Mike Martin and his wife Cindi, daughter, DeAnna Bing and her husband Rex, all of Augusta; brothers, Dale Williamson, Lawton, Okla., Bill Williamson, El Dorado, David Williamson, Wichita, Randy Simms, Mesa, Ariz., Dennis Davidson, Kansas City, and Lonnie Davidson, Illinois; sisters, Eloise Reeves, Leon, Elaine Gates, El Dorado, Leanna Frazier, El Dorado; grandchildren, Jordan, Kaelei, Shelby, T.J., Matt,
Ryan, Katy, Kaylee; a great grandchild Gabrielle; father and mother-in-law, Bill and Evelyn Smith, Leon; and special Mends, Carey and James Lee and Tanner.
Memorials to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice or American Cancer Society.
Arrangements are under the direction of Headley Funeral Chapel in Augusta.

Joseph Jacob "Joe" Betzen, 84, Wichita, loving husband, father, grandfather and brother died Sept. 6, 2006.
Visitation is Friday, Sept 8 at 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., and Rosary is Friday at 7 p.m., both at Resthaven Mortuary. Funeral Mass is Saturday, Sept 9 at 10 a.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church.
He was a bricklayer for HFH Construction Company and worked at St. Francis Hospital Remodel Dept. He was a member of Local Bricklayers Union.
Survivors are: his wife of 54 years, Marcia; sons Ron and wife Jane of Wichita, Gerald of Los Angeles, Calif., Russell and wife Sharon of Wichita, Larry and wife Linda of Wichita; sisters. Lucille Arndt and husband Richard of Wichita Falls, Texas, Sally Builderback of Wichita, Lollie Betzen of Wichita; grandchildren, Greg,
Krystal, Amanda, Joey, Joshua, Jessica, Heather, and Matthew Betzen.

Jerry L. Harrison, 59, Cessna production employee of Augusta, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 30 , 2006.
Viewing 1-8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 7, with family to greet Mends from 7-8 p.m. and services 10 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 8, all at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta. Burial at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta.
Jerry was born in El Dorado on June 5, 1947, he was the son of Jerry Elonzo and Helen Irene (McIntosh)
He attended the First Church of God.
Jerry is survived by his mother, Helen Harrison; a brother, Jay Harrison and his wife Julie, all of Augusta; a niece, Brooke Ponce and her husband Will, Kansas City, Mo; a nephew, Stratton Harrison, Manhattan; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry.
