George S. Rausch

George S. Rausch, 92, Conway Springs, father/father-in-law of Ronald and Connie Rausch of Douglass, died Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2006.
His funeral rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. tonight at St. Joseph Catholic Church of Conway Springs.
The funeral mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 11, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery.
Mr. Rausch was a retired farmer, aircraft machinist and cafe operator. In 2002, he was preceded in death by his wife Barbara.
In addition to Ronald of Douglass, he leaves son Leon Rausch and wife Julie of Wichita; daughters Patricia Ridder and husband Jerry of Wichita, Cara Schay of Eldridge, Iowa; 11 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church or the Spring View Manor activities fund.
The Ebersole Mortuary of Conway Springs is in charge of arrangements.

Taylor Peckham

Wallace Taylor Peckham, Sr., 87, of League City, Texas, formally of Augusta, died Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2006.
No service is planned. He was born Aug. 5,1919
to Arthur Roy and Junia Etta Peckham. Married in 1942 to Georgia Lolita Duryea (Lee).
He owned and operated Peckham Insurance Agency of Augusta for 57 years with his wife Lee, before retiring to the Houston area.
Taylor retired from the United States Air Force, he flew 27 combat missions in the B-17 Bomber over Germany during World Warden. He was a member of the 8th Air Force Historical Association, the Commemorative Air Force (CAF) and the Air Force Reserves, the local Elks, the American Legion, Rotary Club, a former volunteer fireman and City Councilman.
He was preceded in death by grandson Wallace Taylor “Ty” Peckham, III. He is survived by wife Lee; sons Wallace Taylor “Wally” Peckham Jr. and wife Rose Ann of Kemah, Texas., Steve Peckham of Augusta; daughter Nancy Wright and husband Joe of Parsons.
Grandchildren, Joe Wright Jr. and wife Rocky of Texas, Heather Moore and husband Larry of Oklahoma. Michelle Beaver and husband Guy of Az. Julie Peckham of Wichita Ks. Great Grandchildren, Breanna Pritchett, Teanna Echols, Tanner Wright and Spencer Beaver.




Everett Kinsley

Everett Kinsley, 95, of Augusta, went home to be with his Lord, Wednesday, Nov. 15th, 2006.
Viewing 2-8 p.m. Thursday, with family to greet friends from 6:30 - 8 p.m. at Headley I Funeral Chapel, Augusta, Services 1:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 17, 2006 at First Baptist Church, Augusta.
Burial in Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta, Mr. Kinsley was born in Crocker, Mo. on Oct. 3, 1911, the son of Al and Theodosia Kinsley.
Everett served in the U. S. Army during W. W. II in the Pacific and had been a Mobil Oil Refinery employee for over 42 years.
He was a long time member of First Baptist Church of Augusta. On June 14, 1935 he married Hazel Daniels in Richland Missouri. She survives.
He is also survived by a daughter, Janelle Anderson and her husband Jack of Beaumont, Texas.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Ray.
Memorials to First Baptist Church.
Arrangements are under the direction of Headley Funeral Chapel in Augusta.
