Phyllis R. Morris

Phyllis R. Morris, 87, Augusta, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2008.
Viewing 1-5 p.m. Sunday at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta. Graveside service will be 11 a.m. on
Monday, Jan. 21, at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta. Those attending should use the Ohio Street entrance.
Phyllis was born in Bloomington Township, on Aug.7,1920, the daughter of Raymond Henry and Margaret Ann Louise (Knollenberg) Prigmore.
Along with being a homemaker, she owned and operated the roller skating rink in El Dorado. Phyllis sang for the grand opening of the Augusta Historical Theatre and volunteered as a "pink lady" at Augusta Hospital.
She is survived by: sons, Larry Morris of Duncanville, Texas, and Jerry Morris and wife Irina of Augusta; daughter, Vicki Fitzwater and husband Kenny of Augusta;
grandchildren, Tristan and Ian Fitzwater, Krista Corkill and Terrence Morris, and 6 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and
Maggie; a daughter, Diane Morris and a grandson, Kreg Morris.
Memorials to the Kansas Humane Society or Hospice Care of Kansas.
Arrangements entrusted to Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta.

John M. Kittle

John M. Kittle, 51, Wichita, certified financial planner, died on Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2008.
Funeral service at 1 p.m. Saturday at Central Christian Church, Wichita.
He is survived by: wife, Jenny; son, Justin; daughter, Jaymie, all of Wichita;
parents, Robert and June of Douglass; brothers, Robert A. of Douglass and Jim of Augusta.
A memorial has been established with the Midian Shrine Plane of Mercy
Fund, c/o Midian Shrine, 130 N. Topeka, Wichita, 67202.
Arrangements by Cochran Mortuary, Wichita.

Gale L. Blank

Gale L. Blank, 79, Wichita, retired veterinary assistant and Naval Petty Officer, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2008.
Visitation noon to 6 p.m. today; funeral service at 1 p.m. Friday, both in the Garden Chapel of Watson Reflection Pointe, Wichita.
His survivors include: wife, Norma; sons, Michael of Newton, and Chad (Deb) of Augusta; daughter, Kathryn (Lloyd) Mullins of
Augusta; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
Memorials to American Heart Association.

Craig R. Cruit

Craig R. Cruit, 64, of Augusta, passed away, Thursday, Jan. 24, 2008 Viewing 1-6 pm Sunday with family to greet friends from 3-5 at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta.
Funeral service will be 1:30 pm on Monday, Jan. 28, 2008 at First United Methodist Church.
Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta.
Craig was born in El Dorado, Kansas on March 14,1943; the son of the late Carl Henry and Allene (Smith) Cruit.
Craig operated Craig Cruit Agency Farmers Insurance Group for 33 years. On July 9, 1967 he married Marilyn Cody and she survives.
In addition to his wife he is survived by: brothers, Carlton Dean Cruit and wife Jeanette of Decaturville, TN; and Mehl Alan Cruit and wife Diane of Wichita;
nephew, Christopher Allen Cruit and wife Tonya of Sioux Falls, SD; nieces, Carla Jean Cruit and husband Ray Trigony of Vernon Hills, IL; Megan Zapata and husband Joaquin of Wichita; and Emily Dalke and husband Dustin of Hillsboro.
Memorials to the First United Methodist Church, Augusta music department.
