Christopher Aaron Gordon

Christopher Aaron Gordon, 24, of El Dorado, left this world March 8th,
2008, from his home after almost a three year battle with Ewing's Sarcoma, a rare bone cancer.
Visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. this evening, and service at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 11, all at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta.
Chris graduated from Augusta High School, in 2001. He attended Butler Community College where he majored in Business Management and was a member of the chess team. Chris loved playing RPG games of all sorts and was an avid World of Warcraft forum participant.
He is survived by his wife, Maegan, El Dorado; parents, Mark Gordon & Leanna Ehler, of El Dorado; stepfather Kyle Ehler, El Dorado; grandmother, Barbara Gordon, El Dorado; as well as extended aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and neighbors.
Chris had loyal friends and family who remained in contact with him during his entire illness. They often would drop by the house to play video games, watch movies, or just hang out. Among his best friends and family were Kelly Walker, Matt Williams, Sam Strickland, Steve Casiday and Josh Colling.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be designated to the Victory in the Valley or Hospice Care of Kansas.
Arrangements entrusted to Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta.

Dale Andrew Moor

Dale Andrew Moore, 49, Douglass, Trans Am Trucking driver, passed away on March 1, 2008.
Survivors: birth daughter and grandson, Shawna and Dalton Burke; nine grandchildren and one greatgrandchild; special friend, Jill Jenkins.

Faye Grace Cupit

Faye Grace Cupit, 90, Wichita, passed away March born on Jan. 14, 1918 in Greenforest, Ark. and moved to Wichita as a small girl.
Service at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, at Resthaven Mortuary Chapel, Wichita.
Faye was born on Jan. 14, 1918 in Greenforest, Ark. and moved to Wichita as a small girl.
She was president of Beta Epsilon Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi in the early 1940’s. She worked for Continental Map Co. until retiring to raise her family.
Survivors: son, Kenneth J. of Austin, Texas; daughters, Karen Austin of Augusta and Linda Shea of Wichita; grandchildren, Kevin, Chantel, and Danielle; two great- grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her former husband, Kenneth R. Cupit.
Arrangements by Resthaven Mortuary, Wichita.

Wilma Snyder

Wilma Snyder, 90, hairdresser, Douglass, passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2008.
Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, at Smith Mortuary in Derby.
Survivors: seven nieces; three nephews; many great-nieces and nephews.
Memorials to Christ Lutheran Church, 1500 Cron, Augusta, and the Douglass Senior Center, 124 W. 4th, Douglass.

Thomas “Tom” Boehm

Thomas “Tom” Boehm, 43, Haysville, Billiards and Games, Inc. employee, brother and brother-in-law of Dewain and Jan Boehm of Augusta, passed away on Friday, March 7, 2008.
Visitation from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday at Web-Shinkle Mortuary in Clearwater. Rosary at 7 p.m. Tuesday, funeral mass at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, both at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Haysville.
Other survivors include: brothers, Richard Boehm of Denver, Colo., Terry Boehm Mike Boehm and Jim Boehm, all of Haysville; sister, Annette Bennett of Wichita.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may go to National Kidney Foundation, or St. Cecilia Catholic Church.

Robert Mills Siefkin

Robert Mills Siefkin, 83. Wichita, attorney, father of Robin Siefkin of Augusta, passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2008.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Other survivors include: wife, Yvonne; children, Ruth Swenson, George Siefkin and Jim Siefkin; six grandchildren; three greatgrandchildren; sister, Shirley Siefkin Apt.
Memorial gifts may go to the Kansas State University Foundation, the Tucson Rotary Club, or Hospice.
