Marilyn G. Seymour
Marilyn G. Seymour, 73, rural Augusta, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2008.
A celebration of her life was held this afternoon at the First United Methodist Church in El Dorado. Interment followed in Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta.
Marilyn was born on April 29,1935 in Wichita, the daughter of George and Pearl (Braddy) Busch.
On June 29,1958 she and William Eugene Seymour were united in marriage in Augusta. She spent most of her life in this area and worked in the lunch room at Augusta Middle School and had also been the head cook at Towanda Grade School. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Those she leaves include: her husband, Bill of the home; sons, Dale Seymour of the home, and Galen (Megan) Seymour
of Horton; daughter, Karen (Paul) Beaman of El Dorado; sister, Margaret Brunson of Augusta; granddaughters, Madeline and Lydia Seymour.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorials in her memory for the First United Methodist Church may be left with Carlson Funeral Home where friends may call.

Naomi Laswell, 72, Augusta, retired Cessna Aircraft employee and owner of The Shingle, died on Tuesday, Sept. 2,2008.
Funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Friday, at Carlson Funeral Home, El Dorado.
Survivors: son, Aaron of El Dorado; daughter, Laura Merrell of Santa Monica, Calif.; brother, Dale Gooch of Wichita; two granddaughters.
