Gail Ann Graver
Gail Ann Gruver, 61, Garland,Texas, formerly of El Dorado, died on Sept. 11,2008.
Visitation will be at 3 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 18, at the First United Methodist Church in Garland. Funeral service will follow at 4 p.m.
Gail graduated from the University of Texas. She was a member of the Mesquite Order of Eastern Star #887. She worked at Hatfield for 26 years.
Survivors include: her mother, Hazel Gruver; sister, Molly and brother-in-law, Bruce Bishop; brother, John and sister-in-law, Linda Gruver; nieces, Charlotte Rose, Victoria Grace, and Tierney Sara Bishop.
She was preceded in death by her father, Clark Andrew Gruver.
Memorials may be given to FUMC Garland Youth, Old Geezers, or the American Society of Leukemia and Lymphoma.

Landen David Bowman
Landen David Bowman the infant son of Bill and Christie (Davis) Bowman died September 11, 2008 at St. Joseph Hospital in Wichita.
Private services were held in Sunset Lawns Cemetery.
Surviving family include: his parents, Bill and Christie; one brother, Brayden; grandparents, Bob and Beverly Davis of El Dorado, Ronald and Shirley Bowman of Augusta; great grandparents, Robert Davis of Wichita and Margie Deerfield of Wichita.
Kirby-Morris Funeral Home in El Dorado is assisting the family with their arrangements.
Robert Bob Bryan
Robert “Bob” Francis Bryan, 82, Bellingham, Wash., passed away on Monday, Sept. 15,2008.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 19 at Greenacres Memorial Park.
He was born in Wichita, in 1925, to Oburn and Gladys Bryan. He lived in Augusta until he enlisted in the Marine Corps. Bob served in the Hawaiian Islands as Corporal during WWII, from 1943 to 1946.
Upon his discharge from the
Marines, he returned to Augusta and met his fu-
ture wife at the local skating rink. Bob married Darlene Dennett in 1949. He worked at Mobil Oil Refinery while living in Augusta and moved to Redding, Calif, in 1954 where he worked as an ironworker. The couple moved to Oregon in 1955 and then to Whatcom County in 1958. Bob worked at the Mobil Oil refinery in Ferndale until his retirement in 1985.
Bob is survived by: his wife, Darlene; four children, Debi, Chris (Letizia), Mike (Melinda) and Kim (Lyle); sister, Harriet; five grandchildren, Patrick, Aaron, Jeremy, Keelan, and Kylee; and one great-grandchild, TreMaine.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Keck and Charles.
Bob and Darlene spent many years traveling the U.S. and enjoyed many visits to Texas and Arizona. Bob was an avid golfer and really enjoyed visiting with his friends. After he suffered a stroke in 2000, Bob resided at Alderwood Park Convalescent Center in Bellingham.

Wendolin J. Warren
Wendolin J. Warren, 63, Augusta, homemaker, died on Friday, Sept. 12, 2008.
Viewing will be from 1 to 6 p.m. today at Baker Funeral Home, 6100 E. Central in Wichita. Graveside service at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 18, at Fairview Cemetery, rural Augusta.
She attended Wichita Business College for two years and was a Baptist. She married James L. Warren on Dec. 11,1965. He survives.
Other survivors include: son, Jon T. Warren of Augusta; brother, Mike McGlocklin of Russell; sister, Robin McGlocklin of Whitewater; cousin, John Comptom; nephews, Jamie and Michael
