Ruby Cadenhead Williams
Ruby "Katy" Cadenhead Williams, 93, formerly of Amarillo, Texas, died Sunday, Sept. 14, 2008, in San Antonio.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Llano Cemetery. Memorial services will be after burial in Llano Cemetery Chapel by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.
Her survivors include: three sons, Chris Cadenhead and wife Kay of San
Antonio, Curtis Cadenhead and wife Manda of Augusta, and Mike Williams and wife Barbara of Amarillo; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Hub Cadenhead, and her second husband, Pete Williams.
The family suggests memorials be to Vitas Innovative Hospice Care, 5430 Fredericksburg Road, Suite 200, San Antonio, TX 78229 or to a favorite charity.

‘Popper' Burns
Ross D. “Popper” Burns, 82, Douglass, retired Cessna Ai rcraft worker, died on Wednesday, Sept. 17,2008.
Friends may call at Miles Funeral Home in Douglass from 5 to 9 p.m. on Friday.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, at the Douglass United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at the Douglass Cemetery.
Survivors include: his wife, Ruby of the home: sons, Doug (Kathy) Burns of Winfield and John (Annette) Burns of Douglass; brother, Carl Tuggle of Fort Scott;
four grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and four step-great grandchildren.
Memorials have been established for the Douglass United Methodist Church, Douglass Masonic Lodge #151, and to the Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice.
