Norman E. Pritchard

Norman E. Pritchard, 85, Augusta, formerly of Madison, died on Friday, Sept. 19, 2008.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 22, at the United Methodist Church in Madison.
Survivors: sons, Lynn Pritchard of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Don Pritchard of Augusta; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the United Methodist Church in Madison, and may be sent to the Wilson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 488, Madison, KS 66860.

Glen Ralston

Augustan Glen Ralston. 87, died Friday,
Sept. 19,2008 at a Wichita care home.
His funeral services were pending Friday evening.

Kent E. Turpin

Kent Eugene Turpin, 51, passed away Thursday, Sept. 18, 2008.
There will be no visitation and graveside service is 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2008 at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta.
He was born to James Dennis and Mary Cecelia (Dussault) Turpin on May 15,1957 in Wichita. Kent graduated from Augusta High School in 1975, served in the United States Army for four
years, and then graduated from Butler County
Community College with an associate degree. He obtained his LPN license and worked in home health. Kent loved his children, hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his long time companion, Laura Pickart; daughter, Amber; brother, David (Debbie) Turpin; sisters, Terry Turpin; and Karen (Cameron) Mitchell; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Patrick.
