Margaret H. Nicely

Margaret H. Nicely, 82, | Whitewater, passed away on Sept. 26,2008.
A memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 5, at the Augusta First United Methodist Church.
She was born in Lawrence Kans. on Oct. 3, 1926 and lived the last two years of her life in Whitewater. She was retired and loved to garden and feed wild birds.
Her survivors include: sons, Mike (You) Nicely of Cheney and Don (Judy) Nicely of Augusta; daughters, Pat (Lyle) Thorne of Whitewater and Deb Nicely (Dr. Bob Wilson) of
Boston, Mass.; grandchildren, Andrea (Pat) Smith, Alan (Katie) Nicely, Angie Nicely, Chet (Cheri) Thorne, Brad (Jo) Thorne, Scott (Kelly) Groom, Wayne Groom, Brad (Rochelle) Groom, Dean Groom, Brian Nicely, Eric (Michelle) Wilson, and Brian (Jean) Wilson; 17 great-grandchildren; Mr. Harry Nicely’s brothers and sisters; numerous nieces and nephews.
Thanks to Dr. Katie Mroz PA, Kim Abear, the hospital staff of Wesley Medical Center, 10 Tower for the wonderful care and to Good Shepherd Hospice for loving care and allowing her to spend her last days viewing her gardens and bird feeders.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society or the charity of your choice in care of the funeral home.

Cleo M. Brummer

Cleo M. (Boberg) Brummer, 78, Downs, retired bookkeeper for Midway Co-op, died on Sept. 29, 2008.
There will be a vigil service at 7 p .m. on Wednesday, Oct. 1, at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Tipton. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 2, at St. Boniface Catholic
Church. Burial will follow at the St. Boniface Cemetery.
She was born on July 3, 1930, at Tipton.
Cleo is survived by: her husband, Louis of Downs; sons, Dale of Dodge City, Bruce of Davis, Okla., and Brian of Hosington; daughters, Debra Taylor of Cawker City, Donna Gerstenkorn of Augusta, and Brenda Budke of Beloit; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by an infant son, Dwight.

John Rains

John Rains, 69, Andover, retired construction worker, died on Tuesday, Sept. 30,2008.
Graveside service was held yesterday at the Douglass Cemetery.
Rains, and sister, Verna Inks.

survivors include: sons Tim (Phyllis) Rains and John Rains; daughter, Lisa (John) Shumate; brother, Bill Rains; sisters, Patsy Clave and Marjorie Seal; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by: parents, Vernon and Lois Brown Rains; spouse, Charlene Rains, children, Allen and Tina

David Tabor

David Elisha Tabor, 32, EID Drywall employee passed away, Sept. 30 2008.
Visitation with family greeting friends from 5-7 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 5. at Dunsford-Zeiner Funeral Home, Augusta. Graveside
service at 2 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 6, at Kech [ Township Cemetery.
He is survived by his parents, Troy and Sandra; (Peace) Tabor of Augusta; wife, Stormy; son, Tyler Frasher;
daughters, Dearia and Deonna Tabor, and Madison Hess, all of Wichita; brother, Troy (Coleen) Tabor II, Andover; sister, Gina Tabor; grandparents, Lois Tuttle of Ohio, Lovella Peace, Siler, Ky.
Preceded in death by spouse, Kirstie Ramsey Tabor.
Memorial established with the David Tabor Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
