Dortha Aitchison
Dortha Aitchison, 76, of Augusta, passed away, Saturday, Nov. 1, 2008.
Viewing unitl 8 p.m. this evening, with family to greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. and service at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 5, at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta.
Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta.
Dortha was born in Cravens, Ark. on Sept. 10, 1932; the daughter of the late Tommy Radford and Nova Barnett. She retired as a cook from Walnut Valley Manor. On May 3, 1949 she married Lawton B. Aitchison in Ozark, Ark. He preceded her in death on June 11, 2005. A brother, Albert Radford; sisters, Shirley Kolenda and Louise Beckman and a nephew, Brent Rofkar preceded her also.
Her survivors include: son, Charles Aitchison of Augusta; brother, Jerry Patterson of Athens, Ala.; sister, Edna Gossage of Cecil, Ark.; grandchildren, Edna, Richard and
Christina Aitchison; and great- grand kids, Kevin, Cody, Blake & Destiny.
Arrangements by Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta.

Viewing from 3-6 p.m. today and funeral service at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, both at Dunsford-Zeiner Funeral Home, Augusta. Interment in Furley Cemetery following the service. *
She was born on Sept. 15,2008.
Survivors: parents, Tereze Thomas and Austin ( Ludlow, of Augusta; sister, Suvonia, Augusta; grandparents, John and Patty Thomas of Augusta, Zeta Watkins, and Joseph Sparks of Andover, Mark Ludlow, Augusta; great-grandparents, Ruby Kennedy of Augusta, Fern Burleson of Wichita, Marie Ludlow of Augusta; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Memorial to the Luvina Thomas-Ludlow Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
