Betty Lou LeFever

Betty Lou LeFever, 89, homemaker, of Pittsburg, and formerly of Augusta, passed away, Saturday, Nov. 8, 2008 at Mt. Carmel Medical Center in Pittsburg.
Viewing until 6 p.m. this evening and funeral service will be 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 12, at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta.
Mrs. LeFever was born in Augusta on July 3, 1919; she was the daughter of the late Louis H. and Blanche (Brower) Knollenberg. She had been a member of the First Baptist Church in Augusta and a member of the Service Sunday school
class. On April 15, 1939 she married William F. LeFever at Pawhuska, Okla. He preceded her in death on July 19,2005.
She is survived by: son, Joe B. LeFever and wife Patty of Pittsburg; grandsons, William F. LeFever II and wife DeeDee of Scam-mon, Matthew LeFever of Pittsburg, and Darin J. LeFever and wife Jana of Overland Park; two great-grandsons, Devon and Drake LeFever of Scam-mon; and three great-granddaughters, Laiken and Olivia LeFever of Scammon and Katie Beth LeFever of Overland Park.
