Leonard M. Kaylor, Sr.
Leonard M. Kaylor, Sr., 80, Douglass, retired U.S. Army, died on Thursday, Nov. 20, 2008.
Funeral service was held today at Lakeview Funeral Home, Wichita.
Survivors include: sons, Leonard M. Kaylor and Charles Kaylor; daughter, Elsie Ambrosio; brothers, Kenny Kaylor, Bobby Kaylor, and Don Kaylor; sisters, Margie Williams, Betty West and Martha Sue Rosemond; nine grandchildren.
Memorial established with Kansas Veterans Home, Winfield.
Arrangements by Lakeview Funeral Home in Wichita.
Juanita “Sue” Hamblet
Juanita “Sue” Evelyn Hamblet, 89, Venice, Calif., formerly of Augusta, died on Nov. 19, 2008, after a courageous 2-year battle with breast cancer.
Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 26, at Inglewood Mortuary Chapel and burial will follow immediately.
Sue was born on March 11, 1919 in Springfield, Mo. The family moved to Augusta and then to Taft, Calif, in the early 1940’s and then to Venice where she made her home for the past 67 years.
She married her husband Herbert in 1937 and is survived by: her son, Donald Hamblet of West Sacramento; her daughter, Patricia Hank of Cal-abasas; and her
grandchildren, Kim Guajardo of West Los Angeles, Troy Hamblet of Westchester, Melanie Sullivan of Monroe, Ore., Donnie Hamblet of West Sacra-
mento, and her greatgrandchild Dana Aval.
Her husband Herbert, her son Herbert, her brother Raymond Stinnett and her sisters Flossie Peace, Florence Adams, Mildred “Mitt” Stevens, and Helen Stinnett preceded her in death.
Brett Poore Kressley
Brett Poore Kressley, 25, Lucas, Kan., elevator employee, died on Friday, Nov. 21, 2008.
Funeral service was held today at the Lucas United Methodist Church.
Survivors include: parents, Craig Kressley and LaBretta Ann Poore; brother, Douglas Kressley; sisters, Serenity Kressley and Felicia Clintsman; godfather, Pete Poore; numberous nieces and nephews.
Memorials to the Lucas Public Library.

Bob Stierwalt
Bob Stierwalt, 72, Chanute, mechanic, father of Michael Stierwalt of Augusta, died on Saturday, Nov. 22, 2008.
Visitation with family from 7 to 8 p.m. this evening; funeral service at 10 a.m. Wednesday, both at the Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel in Chanute. Burial will follow in Urbana Cemetery.
Other survivors include: wife, Rose; son, Randy Stierwalt; two daughters, Misty Franklin and Wendy Wade; brothers, LaVern Stierwalt and Arnold Stierwalt; 14 grandchildren; two great-granddaughters.
Memorials to Southern Care Hospice may be left with the funeral home.
