Sarah Jane Pippin

Sarah Jane Pippin, 74, Lubbock, Texas, passed away on Jan. 13,2009.
A memorial service was held on Jan. 16, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Lubbock.
She is survived by: her husband of 50 years, Raymond Eugene Pippin; daughters, Amy (Charles) Mire and Jenny (Richard) Stevens; brothers, Gib and John Pierce; sister-in-law, Beverly (Robert) McCalla of Augusta; five grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Arrangements by Sanders Funeral Home in Lubbock, Texas.

Dorothy Davis

Dorothy Mae Davis, 83, Douglass, homemaker, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 18, 2009.
Memorial service will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 22, at Dunsford-Zeiner Funeral Home, Augusta, 117 W. 6th.
Dorothy was born on Dec. 10, 1925, in Corsicana, Texas to J.E. “Bud” and Martha (Floyd) Tillery. She married R.B. Wilson in Pampa, Texas and they had one son, Billy Ray. Dorothy married Howard Davis on Nov. 13, 1946, and they had three sons, Curtis, Bryan and Stacy.
Survivors include: sons, Curtis and Stacy Davis; daughter-in-laws, Sherrie Davis, Sharon Wilson, and LeAnn Capps; 10 grandchildren; eight greatgrandchildren.
She waS preceded in death by spouse, Howard; sons, Billy Ray and Bryan; and grandson, Billy.

Joshua Dean Knollenberg

Joshua Dean Knollenberg, 1 month and 14 days, infant son of Patrick and Angie Knollenberg of Augusta, passed away on Friday, Jan. 16,2009.
Funeral service was held this afternoon at
Dunsford-Zeiner Funeral Home, Augusta. Interment followed in Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta.
Other survivors: brother, Caleb Knollenberg; sisters, Lacey Merz and Amariah Knollenberg, all of Augusta; grandparents, George and Linda Lawson of Augusta, and Mitchell Knollenberg of Hutchinson; greatgrandmother, Velma Knollenberg of Augusta; great-grandparents, Allen and Maxine Wallace of Andover.
