Helen L. Hime

Helen Lucille (Jones) Hime, 87, Augusta, homemaker, passed away April 30,2009.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on on Tuesday, May 5, at Dunsford-Zeiner Funeral Home, Augusta. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 6, at the Augusta Christ Lutheran Church, Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta.
Helen was born on Oct. 5,1921 in Augusta to Neil and Neva (Bailey) Jones. She was graduated from fc Augusta High School and 5 attended Butler County Community College. During World War II she worked for Boeing and on
April 6, 1946 married Vergil Dan Hime in Wichita. She also co-owned The Ladybug Craft Shop in Augusta.
Survivors include: her three sons and their wives, Douglas and Nancy Hime of Newport, R.I., David and Connie Hime of Wichita, Maurice and Terry Hime of Topeka; a sister, Connie Koester of Grove, Okla.; five grandchildren; four step-grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents; her spouse, Vergil on April 16, 2008.
A memorial has been established with the Christ Lutheran Church, 1500 Cron, Augusta, 67010, or in care of Dunsford-Zeiner Funeral Home, Augusta.

Elsie May Huff

Elsie May Huff, 87, Rose Hill, homemaker, passed away Saturday, May 2, 2009.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, May 7; funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, May 8, both at Dunsford-Zeiner Funeral Home, Augusta. There will be a private family interment.
Elsie was born Jan. 19, 1922, in Bernie, Mo. to James and Effie (Goforth) Hyslope.
Survivors include: her son, Roger and his wife, Desiree Meeks of Benton, Kan.; sisters and their spouses, Eva and Jim Sagerty of Valley Center, Reva and A1 Guerra of Wichita; grandsons, Chris Meeks (Heidebrecht), Robert Meeks (Heidebrecht), Shane (Kimberly) Meeks and Kale Meeks,_ step-grandson Bryce Nelson; three grandchildren, Ashley, Zacharee and Au-nikka Meeks.
She was preceded in death by her parents; spouse, Roger Huff; brother, Glen Hyslope; twin sisters, Opal and Erpal.
A memorial has been established with Good Shepherd Hospice, 439 North McLean, Ste. 100, Wichita, 67203 or in care of the funeral home.
