M. Glenn McClellan

M. Glenn McClellan, 71, was called to heaven by the Lord, Saturday, July 4, 2009.
Viewing 1-8 p.m. today, with family to greet friends from 6 to 7 p.m. and services 10 a.m.
Wednesday, July 8, 2009 all at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta. Burial will follow at Leon Cemetery, Leon.
Glenn was born in Haverhill, Kan. on Aug. 23,1937; the son of Harry A. and Lula (Culick) McClellan.
Glenn retired from the research and development denartment at Boeing in
1995 after 33 years. He served in the U.S. Air Force Reserves as well.
On Sept. 27,1957 he married Deanna (Pennington) at the Christian Church in Augusta and she survives.
In addition to his wife he is survived by: sons, Vincent (Carey) of Leon; and Kyle (Marjorie) of Mulvane; daughter, Glennda (Dan Gomez) of Leon;
grandchildren, SPFC Christopher McClellan, serving in Mousel, Iraq, Candy (Zeb) LaClef of Leon, Beverly (Ryan) Cocking of Wichita, A. J. Lakin of Leon, and Alicia, Simon,
and Matthew McClellan of Mulvane; great-grandson, Noah LaClef.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Robert and Everett and sisters, Naomi and Dorothy.
Memorials to Amedisys Hospice or the Kansas Humane Society.
