Betty Ann Gumm
Betty Ann (Ferguson) Gumm, 83, Augusta, retired medical transcrip-tionist passed away Monday, August 3, 2009. Services are pending with Dunsford-Zeiner Funeral Home.
Charles L. Newsom
Charles L. Newsom, 83, Wichita, father and father-in-law of Mike and Diana Newsom of Augusta, passed away on Monday, Aug. 3,2009.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 6, at Downing & Lahey Mortuary East, Wichita.
Mr. Newsom was a U.S. Army WWII veteran and a retired custodial supervisor with the school district.
Other survivors include: his wife, Rachel; son, David Newsom; daughter, Anna Poeverlein; sister,’ Joy Cudney; nine grandchildren; one great-granddaughter.
Arrangements by Downing & Lahey Mortuary East, Wichita.
