Greens-burg, retired Andover
IGA clerk, died July 28, 2009.
Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 8, at the Andover Church of Christ. Inurnment at the Andover Cemetery.
Survived by: children, Ron Tucker, Connie Brockman, Melinda Hill, Terry M. Tucker and James F. Meeker; brother, Emerson Stewart; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, two brothers; husband, James Meeker in 1995, and hus-

Bainter
Phillip W. Bainter, 58, Largo, Fla., former Augusta resident, died on Sunday, Feb. 8,2009, after complications from a series of strokes.
Services were held at Taylor Family Funeral Home in Pinellas Park, Fla., with burial at Florida National Cemetery, Bush-nell, Fla.
Mr. Bainter was born on April 23, 1950 in Wichita to Rolland and Florence (Dye) Bainter. Phil was a
decorated Vietnam War veteran living
at the Largo Home Health Care Center in Largo, Fla. when he passed away.
He is survived by: sons,
Mark Bainter and David Bainter, both of St. Petersburg, Fla.; three grandchildren; sisters, Judy Rippee of Augusta and Pat Volonino of Seminole, Fla.; many family members and friends.
Preceding him in death: his wife, Shirley Bainter; his parents; an infant sister; and brother, Larry Bainter.
Sherry Dixon
Sherry Dixon, 54, Wichita, mother of Nina Brooks of Augusta, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 2, 2009.
Memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, at Resthaven Mortuary, Wichita.
Other survivors include: daughter, Norma Dixon; sister, Sandy Medley; brother, Steve Burdue; four grandchildren.
Arrangements by Resthaven Mortuary, Wichita.

Donald Dean Abbey, 75, Wichita, retired from Kansas Gas Service, brother of Robert (Jane) Abbey of Andover, died on Sunday, Aug. 2, 2009.
Visitation 5-7 Thursday at Baker Funeral Home, Valley Center. Funeral service at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 7, at Calvary Baptist Church, Valley Center.
Other survivors: wife, Shirley; children, Stanley Abbey, Doyle Abbey, Dennis Abbey, Diana Chip-peaux, Brenda Walton, Dwight Abbey; 14 grandchildren; four greatgrandchildren.
