Aaron Wilson

Aaron Michael Wilson, 25, Orange Park, Fla., UPS supervisor, died on July 28,2009.
A funeral service was held Saturday, Aug. 1, at Jacksonville Memory Gardens in Orange Park.
He is survived by; parents, Jerry and Norma
Wilson of Orange Park; grandmother, Cova Potter of Augusta; brothers, Brent Wilson, Chad Wilson, and Jared Wilson; sister, Krysta Howard; two nephews and two nieces.
He was preceded in death by: grandparents,Merle Potter, Frank Wilson and Tulsa Wilson, all of Augusta.

Esther McPherson

Esther McPherson, formerly of Glen Rose, Texas, went home to be with the Jesus, Friday, Aug, 7, 2009, in Augusta Kansas at the home of her grand-daughter and grand-son-in-law, Genie and Russell Brazell. She was 95 years young.
Esther was born Jan. 31, 1914 in Coleman County, Texas to Oscar Gray and Matie Row Grav.
She was united in marriage to John Boyd McPherson on Oct. 2, 1931. The couple had three sons:
Billy Guy, Benny Don and Ronald Boyd.
Esther’s husband passed away in 1981. She is also preceded in death by her parents, son Benny Don McPherson, who passed away in 2004, and
also her brother, John Rudolf Gray, and her sis-ter Vera Gray McPherson She is survived by: Her son and daughter-in-law, Billy G.and Lena McPherson of Augusta, Kansas; Her son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Nancy McPherson of Cherryvale, Kansas; Eleven grandchildren: Billy L McPherson of Kansas, Genie Brazell of
Kansas, Jim McPherson of Kansas, Ricky McPherson of California , Shelly Gordon of Mississippi, Mac McPherson of
nephews and cousins; And many, many dear friends.
Esther would be pleased to honor two of her very dear friends Bobbie Gartrell and Martha Shipman of Glen Rose,Texas,who helped keep her last days bright and cheerful with their almost daily, conversations.
Kansas, Stacie McPherson of New Mexico, Steve McPherson of Kansas, Lori McPherson of Washington, Mary McPherson of Colorado and Anna McPherson of Colorado
29 great-grandchildren and 30 great-great grandchildren; One brother and sister-in-law, Eugene and Martha Gray of Ballinger, Texas; One sister-in-law, Frances McPherson of Granbury, Texas; A host of nieces,
Esther professed faith in Jesus as her Savior at a very early age. In her younger years she was a Sunday School teacher and was involved in many Vacation Bible Schools wherever she attended church. A
moving from Glen Rose at age 92 ,because of failing hearing and eyesight, she remained a member of First Baptist Church.
Esther and her late husband lived in several different states through the years because of his work. However, her heart was always in Texas. She will be laid to rest in the George’s Creek Cemetery.
She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She will be remembered and celebrated for her love of family and friends, her enthusiasm for life, her hobbies of quilting and crochet and
yard sales, her passion for reading, her adventurous spirit that took her on many road trips even late in her life, and last but not least her love of walking (and shop-ping) that kept her in good health into her nineties.
Funeral services were held at the Headley Funeral Chapel in Augusta, Kansas at 11 AM on Aug. 10, 2009. Pastor Sam McVay officiated.
There will be also be a service at the George’s Creek Cemetery Tabernacle, near Glen Rose Texas. 3 PM Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2009.
