Betty Jo Cron

Betty Jo Cron, 65, Augusta, retired material handler at Hawker-Beechcraft, passed away Thursday, Aug. 20,2009.
A memorial gathering was held Saturday at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta. A private memorial graveside service was held at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta.
She is survived by: brother, Robert (Penny) Cron; numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends.
Memorials to the Kansas Humane Society or the American Diabetes Association.

James C. Achenbaugh

James C. Achenbaugh, 73, Douglass, retired Boeing machinist, died on Thursday, Aug. 6,2009.
Graveside service was held this afternoon at Kansas Veterans’ Cemetery, Winfield.
Survivors: wife, Jackie; sons, Bryant, Bradley and Michael; daughter, Kim.
Arrangements by Smith Mortuary, Haysville.

Shirley A. Beuerlein

Shirley A. Beuerlein, 61, Benton, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 23, 2009.
Visitation with family will be 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26, with Rosary following at 7 p.m., both at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Andover. Celebration of Life at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 27, also at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. jSurvivors: children,
Becky (Kurt) Hesse of Wichita and Jason (Christy) Beuerlein of Andover; mother, Catherine Seyfert; brother, Terry Seyfert; sisters, Janice Kastner, Sharon Dohe, and Cheri Simmons; five grandchildren.
Memorials have been established with Agape Care Cradle, Inc. in Wichita and Eagle Valley Raptor Center in Cheney.
Arrangements by Downing & Lahey Mortuary East, Wichita.

Earl Schnake

Earl Schnake, 76, Augusta, retired electrician, died on Monday, Aug. 24, 2009.
Arrangements are pending with Dunsford-Zeiner Funeral Home, Augusta.
