Glenda M. White, 76, Wichita, retired City of Wichita account clerk,
mother and mother-in-law of Ron and Lisa White or Augusta, died on Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2009.
Funeral service was held on Monday.
Other survivors include: daughters Cindy White, and Charlotte (Gary) Bowland
six grandchildrendren and six great-grandchildren
Memorial establishedwith Victory in the Valley, 3755 E Douglas, Wichita, KS 67218.

Robert E. Ballard

Robert E. Ballard, 74 Wichita, father and father-
in-law of Bradley Todd and Janice Ballard of An-dover died on Saturday, Sept. 26,2009.
Funeral service was held today.

Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2009.

Verda Hanes

Verda Hanes, 79, Douglass, retired USD 259 physical education teacher, died on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2009.
Visitation 1 to 8 p.m., with family 5 to 7 p.m.
Wednesday, at Smith Mortuary in Derby. A private graveside service will be held Thursday.
Survivors: sister, Ellouuise Gimple and Genevee Haskin, both of Douglass; numerous nieces and nephews.

Thomas, Sr.

Joseph R. Thomas, Sr. 79, Wichita, father and father-in-law of Tom and Deidra Thomas of Andover, died on Sunday, Sept. 27,2009.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 P.m Wednesday, at Resthaven Mortuary, Wichita. Services with military honors will be at 3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 1, at Resthaven.
Survivors include: wife, Hanky; other sons, Mike Thomas and Daryl (Susan) Thomas; siblings, Irene, Al and Carolyn; eight grandchildren; one great-grandson.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hope Community Church
